From a Land of Ash and Flame

The Streonian Battle-Cruiser named Gamaliel drifted slowly away
from the planet of Kurdahz. It's reptilian people were
undesirable, and were more deserving of an end rather than a
chance to start over. General Pelleret Esclanfal sat in a throne
on his ship, holding in his hand a round device with several
small buttons and grooves. In his other was the staff that he
had used to decapitate the self-proclaimed leader of the
Kurdahz.
He broke into a peal of seemingly maddened laughter before
clicking the large round button in the middle of the device he
had in his hand. It clicked thrice, then made a loud beeping
noise. The guards in the throne room stood silently, watching
their leader as he decided the fate of the planet Kurdahz. The
device was linked to a beacon that the Streonians had left on
the surface of Kurdahz, referring to it as a gift of goodwill.
It was nothing of the sort. Nothing at all.
The moment Esclanfal touched the button again, the beacon
activated, mesmerizing those standing around it, freezing them
in place. They stood around the object as it opened up,
revealing some kind of radar dish.
Not far from the Gamaliel, the Avarflet was waiting. Majority of
its massive hull was made to unfurl once the beacon was
activated. They separated and settle side by side to reveal a
large superlaser. Once the Gamaliel was far enough, the
superlaser was fired directly onto the beacon, vaporizing the
Kurdahz standing around it, and consequently destroying the
planet. The crews of both Streonian ships watched as the once
beautiful planet faded into dust.
"It is done." said Eclanfal, dropping the device. The guards
watched as it rolled across the throne room to the doors. "Now,
we search for our next target. All impure species must be
sanctified."

Light years away, a small Imperial patrol consisting of an
Acclamator and 2 Tartan V Patrol Craft conduct their scans of
the area. An ensign in the Acclamator's crew pit stared
unblinkingly at a screen displaying the results of the most
recent scanning sweep of nearby systems. Suddenly, there was a
blip on the screen.. a large blip.
"Captain, I think I've picked up a solar anomaly. I would say
it's a supernova but I recommend we transfer all long range
scanners toward that system for more information." The ensign
announced to the tired looking captain.
"Ensign Ord, please stop being so overzealous to find something
to shoot at. A patrol this small, no one would notice us unless
they were looking to rob us of our supplies. We're more of a
target for pirates out here than we are of fighting Klingons or
something. Resume scan." the captain replied, not opening his
eyes from sitting awkwardly in his captain's chair.
"But sir, I've got a bad feeling about this." the ensign
pleaded.
"Fine, if it makes you shut up. Comm, transfer all sensors to
long range and direct them to the system that Ensign Ord talked
about." The Captain ordered, as he finally sat upright in his
chair.
"Umm.. sir?"
"What?"
"We need to contact High Command."
"What for?"
"Sir, that blip was the energy signature from a super laser."
Ord announced, stuttering with fear and anxiety.
"What? Why the hell would anyone bother with super lasers in
this galaxy? The shields on a puny Tartan Craft could deflect
the blast from even the second Death Star." The Captain laughed.
"Yes sir, it could.. but how many of our planets actually have a
global shield grid? They could still destroy a planet... which
they may have just did considering where they are."
The Captain's face showed his sudden realization. "All hands
prepare for hyperspace, helm set course for New Coruscant, order
the Tartan to find the nearest task force and link up with them.
Tell them nothing of what we have discovered. The first person
we need to tell is the Emperor himself."
The Acclamator pivoted as it calculated it's jump to hyperspace,
and then in a flash of light the Acclamator was out of sight and
on its way to New Coruscant.

The Gamaliel and the Avarflet, after destroying the planet
Kurdahz, rejoined its fleet of 40 Battle-Cruisers. Of them all,
the Gamaliel was the largest. Esclanfal's pride and joy. His
flagship. Streonia's absolute best.
General Esclanfal walked down the red carpet laid across room,
towards the large arched double doors. He had his first pair of
arms holding his staff, and the second pair behind his back.
Though his face couldn't be seen, he had a mischievous grin on
it. His plans for the sanctification of this galaxy were far
from over. All impure species were to be erased from existence.
They were undeserving of life.
Standing in the middle of the room, on top of the Streonian
Royal Crest, Esclanfal laughed another evil laugh and looked up
with pride at the planets he had successfully cleansed. They
hung above his throne room as trophies for the General's easy
victories. At the current time, there were 86. Esclanfal walked
on further, feeling full of himself as he approached the bridge
of his great ship. His fleet was heading for another planet. One
that had not been seen before. It wasn't that far from Streonia
itself.
He said to the ship's Captain, "Prepare my shuttle. I'd like to
see, assess this planet's people."
The shorter Streonian nodded and began gave his orders. The ship
neared the planet, and a little later, a shuttle was launched
from it.

"I see..." said Gaeran rather happily, letting off a little
chuckle. "Alright... Ram."
He felt puffed out with pride hearing what Askaari said to him
about his planet and his rule. Sure he'd sort of blundered that
time, but he only did it because he wanted what was best for his
people. Though the recent attacks in the large Daleiran Star
System were indeed alarming and could be Idahria's first and
possibly largest conflict yet. With a look of gratefulness and
determination, Gaeran Peredain nodded and prepared himself for
the battle to come, if in case the enemy was indeed bent on
destroying every planet within its reach.

Silvercoast Atoll
Minister Hekso was over from Noelani. Immediately after the
Emperor's call, he rushed to prepare the recon squad that was
going to be sent out into Daleiran space.
Silvercoast was one of Idahria's many atolls. 5 islands in all,
and none of them were any larger than an Idahrian interceptor,
which was around 60 ft. long. Its sand was pure white and very
soft. If only the planet had a light source of some kind, it
would be the perfect place to sunbathe.
"Is the ship ready, Captain?" Hekso asked an Astelle Imperial
officer who nodded in reply.
"Yes sir. The crew is ready as well." he said, walking over to
the scout ship's underside. A cylindrical compartment dropped
down in front of them, and its doors opened. The two Idahrians
entered and the compartment rose directly into the ship's
bridge. The role of this craft was recon, and to do that, it had
to be light. There were no armaments for the recon ship to use,
but it had passive defense.
Hekso seemed pleased enough at the ship's crew. There were seven
in all. The captain and the other members. It should be easy
enough, yet it would be dangerous. After making his last rounds
within the ship with the Captain accompanying him, Hekso gave
Gaeran another call to say that everything was ready and that
the ship was leaving. As the Häger-class scout ascended, Hekso
watched and received his new orders. Gaeran wanted all necessary
defenses prepared in case someone from the designated target
system came chasing after the scout.
"Well, Ram..." Gaeran pocketed the round device. "The
reconaissance team is a few minutes out. They're on their way
now. Once they report in, I'm sure Minister Hekso will relay
their information to me."

"I'd rather the Acclamator accompany them, but we cannot delay
this mission. How long will it take them to arrive in the
system?" Askaari inquired.

Gaeran remembered. He gasped softly, turning back to Askaari.
"Well, they aren't too far from Idahria just yet. The Acclamator
can still catch up to them. It will take a few hours to get to
Daleira with the engines we've got on our ships."
He turned away from the other Emperor, walking from one side of
the path to the other, admiring the flowers. It was much better
seeing them in the light rather than in the dark. He sighed
softly as he took in the sights and smells, and he flicked his
tail in delight to show it. His colors rapidly flashed bright as
well.

"If your people can send us rendezvous coordinates the
Acclamator can meet them on their way there. I believe the
Acclamator is fast enough to do just that."
OOC: Just in case, this is what an Acclamator looks like:

Gaeran looked over at Askaari as he took out that device again
from the same pocket in which he'd stored it. "Yes, of course."
The crew of the Häger-class Galatea received another message
from Minister Hekso, saying to give rendezvous coordinates to a
certain someone from New Coruscant. With what they got from
Hekso's message, they were able to send a set of coordinates and
stopped their own ship for a moment.
(How big ist this Acclamatore?)

OOC: The Length of the Acclamator is 752 Meters, the Width is
460 Meters
The Acclamator soon caught up to the Idahrian vessels and
signaled them to proceed, their weapons were kept active so they
could defend the Idahrians at a moments notice.
