       I Remember

       I remember hearing about this case when I was a child and the
       case was fairly new. While the concept of aliens off on a
       distant planet somewhere was enough to mystify my young mind,
       the thought of actual aliens making face to face contact with
       humans was mind blowing! I had a million questions that no one
       could answer. What did they look like? Where are they from? Are
       they mean? Funny, almost 50 years later and no one can still
       answer those questions aside from maybe what they look like.
       Although now if I hear "what do they look like" I would say,
       "which ones?" One day I am sure we will know. It is already in
       the collective conscience of humanity. And although now it's
       hard to imagine a time when these stories were new and
       unbelievable, there was such a time.
