This will be my last post for about a week as I will be
attending the International UFO Congress in Scottsdale, AZ. Ask
most astronomers if they believe there is life beyond earth and
they will say that the probability is great. Ask them if they
think we are being visited by ETs they will say most probably
not. The distances are just too great. Even if they travel at
light speed, the nearest star is about 4 Light Years (LY) away.
Inthis post I will discuss how ET can travel great distances.
Imagine if we could build a rocket ship with the ability to
accelerate continuously at 1 g. Let’s assume for the moment that
it has an inexhaustible fuel supply. As a rocket is traveling
outward into space, we would stay in continuous communication
with the crew. After they had traveled 365 days, we might call
them and congratulate them for traveling nearly half a light
year from Earth. They would be surprised that we think they had
been traveling for 365 days because their calendar indicates
they had only been gone 320 days. This is because of time
dilation which, according to Einstein, occurs as a function of
high velocity, high acceleration, and/or high gravitational
fields. If you combine these factors into an equation, you would
find that the clock on board the craft slows to the extent that
the crew has only 320 pass while we on Earth measure 365 days.
Now, suppose we could build a craft that could accelerate at 100
g indefinitely. Then things get very interesting. Now when we
call the occupants of the craft after 365 days of travel to tell
them they are nearly one light year way, they are even more
surprised to learn they have been traveling for that many days.
Their calendar indicates they have only been traveling 19 days.
If we allow the craft to continue its flight, we would discover
they can travel great distances in what to them appears to be
only a few days. For instance at 100 g, within a month they
would be 50 light years (LY) from us. If they continue on for
another month, they could travel halfway across the 100,000 LY
diameter Milky Way galaxy!
I did a rough calculation and found that at 100g acceleration,
we would reach the Moon in 20 minutes! We could travel to Mars
in 12 hours and to Jupiter in 18 hours. Traveling to Jupiter
would be like a trip between New York and Sidney today. The
concers NASA has about the effects of log term exposure to low
gravity would not be a concern.
Some might wonder about the power requirements for extended
acceleration at 100g but we need to rethink the whole situation.
Eugene Podkletnov has measured the speed of gravity pulses in
his lab in Finland and found they travel 64 time the speed of
light. If a negative field is used, I have been told Einstein's
equations predict an increase in the local speed of light. Thus
the energy required to travel at near light speed may not be as
great as once thought. Also, consider the amazing fact that
Podkletnov reports that the energy dissapated by his gravity
pulse is less that that put into his pulse generator. He is not
sure why but thinks that perhaps the beam releases energy from
subatomic particles (zero point energy???).

Absolutely fascinating subject. Thank you for sharing your
knowledge on the subject with us. Now if only we could get this
technology into use on this planet. Think of the possibilities.

If our alleged ET visitors can generate sufficient energy on
board
to create a magnetic field of such intensity that cloaking can
occur,
maintaining 100g acceleration in linear flight seems realisitic.
However, one caveat is that the disk shaped craft commonly
reported
are generally considered to be short range scout reconnaissance,
namely interplanetary rather than interstellar,
lenticular in shape for entering and exiting atmosphere
efficiently
with minimal vapour trails in rapid transit.
Which would hint at a larger craft in our vicinity, analogous to
an aircraft carrier.
Now where could that be hiding? :)
And the power generating capabilites of such a beast would be
well off human charts.
I, for one, am happy such technology IS in alien hands.

You're right. I didn't think of it that way but I guess whenever
you think about the benefits that a new technology would bring,
when you're talking about the human race, you always have to
factor in that the group of humans who holds the technology will
always use it against those who don't. :(

There are several reasons why I believe UFOs are propelled by a
negative gravitational field. One observation that has been
reported is that when a UFO passes low overhead, witnesses
report a “pressure” or feeling of increased weight. This is an
indication that the gravitational field being generated by a UFO
is a negative field operating under the craft instead of a
positive one operating above the craft. With a negative field,
the craft and its occupants freefall away from the field instead
of toward it.
It seems that the underside of a classical UFO disc is where at
least one of the propulsion fields is formed. It may be a
rotating field which explains why wobbling is often seen as UFOs
hover. Witnesses describe a glowing ring around the perimeter of
the underside. Also, they are seen to tilt so the axis of
symmetry is aligned with the direction of travel. There are
remarkable photographs in a book published in Germany in 1999.
In the book UFO: Richard Brunswick Photocollection, Richard
Brunswick has a two-photo sequence of a saucer shaped UFO
maneuvering over a field. Dust appears to be kicked up as the
craft is about one to two diameters above the ground.
Circulation or convection within the dust cloud can be seen. The
dust cloud shows signs of being rarefied in a ring shaped zone
under the perimeter of the craft as dust and air are expelled.
These are indications that a negative field is formed on the
underside of the craft.
A second observation that supports negative fields is the
freezing of shallow bodies of water. The surface of ponds on
which UFOs have landed or hovered for an extended period of time
are frozen. One case appears in UFOs: The Whole Story by Coral
and Jim Lorenzen, pages 162–166. The incident took place on
Vashon Island, Washington, on February 18, 1968. A one hundred
foot diameter pond which was only three inches deep was found
frozen solid in a gravel pit where the prevailing temperature
was above freezing. A UFO estimated to be about thirty feet in
size had been seen in that area.
When a UFO is very near the surface of water, the negative
gravity under the perimeter expels the air creating low pressure
in that region. The surface water exposed to that low pressure
evaporates rapidly and carries heat away from the body of water.
This creates a refrigeration effect similar to what occurs in
swamp coolers or cooling towers. If a saucer hovers long enough
over a shallow body of water such as a pond, enough heat is
removed so that the body of water will freeze.
Another case for negative gravity propulsion is supersonic
travel without creating a shock wave. If a negative gravity
field were projected upstream in the direction of travel the air
molecules in the flight path would be forewarned of the
approaching craft and move out of the way. This would avoid
pressure buildup and the creation of a shock wave at any speed
of travel, even thousands of miles per hour.
