This is a good thing,
a new forum for current times,
as the others have become so contaminated with hoaxes and
disinfo,

It is a statistical certainty that other sentient intelligent
races exist in our Galaxy.
That you can take to the bank.
Our Sun is one of ~200 billion in our galaxy alone.
Couple that to ~200 billion known Galaxies in the cosmos,
and the possibilities of races similar to us,
and others way more advanced,
go up exponentially.
As regards earthly visits,
many professional people have put their reputations on the line,
military, civilian pilots, and ex-astronauts for example.

The reason this amazing information is witheld from the world
basically falls into two camps:
1. Panic from the masses,
impact on Religions worldwide,
as the truth may impact the views held by the many as to the
origins of modern humanity.
Governments know that messing with people's religions can be a
very volatile act,
as it is THE most potent method of mind control there is.
Every religious zealot thinks they are right,
and are prepared to kill, or be killed without fiscal reward,
to defend this view.
2. Power and greed,
namely drip feeding technology to the masses,
and the huge monster that is the Petrochemical industry and the
oil companies,
their mission is to extract every dollar/€uro from fossil fuels
before replacement technologies come along,
impact on environment while doing this is considered collateral
damage.
The propulsion methods and power source employed by our alleged
visitors
could be based on science so far over our heads,
that it would be like comparing what we are right now
to stone-age man. Those kind of energy sources I would think
would be well policed among space faring races,
for their own protection if nothing else.
It has been suggested that the first detonation of nuclear
devices
in the 1940's is what attracted some of them here in recent
times.
It has also been suggested that when a nuclear detonation takes
place,
that as well as the huge release of energy in our own dimension,
it also causes "issues" in other dimensions,
we are told there could be as many as 11,
and some of our visitors can be considerd as trans-dimensional
beings.
Any et species like us that have allegedly no interstellar
travel,
basically live on their own worlds,
obliviously unaware of others in the cosmos
due to the phenomenal separation distances involved,
thinking they are the only ones that exist,
like a mass version of Solipsism.
The internet is fool of spoofers, liars, con men, dis-info
agents and wack jobs
and loonies trying to sell a book,
when you start researching the topic.

Well said! I agree completely. I would also add to the reasons
for non-disclosure as total collapse of the financial system
(which also falls under your greed category). You know how the
markets fluctuate so violently based on even the slightest of
things. Can you imagine what would happen if there was a mass
landing. There would be total economic collapse instantly. Yes
Gordon Cooper as well as Edgar Mitchell. Although Mitchell
freely admits he's never had an actual sighting, as Cooper has,
he has been privy to high level meetings with the people "in the
know" on Roswell. These are just two sources of indisputable
credibility in my opinion. And not to forget the many who spoke
at the UFO's and Nukes Press Conference at the National Press
Club in DC.
Conversely, I have to wonder what the situation would be if
there was full disclosure and how that would effect the lives of
the average human and the governments of the world. What I mean
to say is that if even some of these were malevolent beings (and
I would have to say that it appears that some are as evidenced
by abduction cases) and they had the ability to paralyze a
person in the middle of the night and levitate them through a
solid wall, what would our options be against this? How would
even a military stop that? I think the answer to that is hiding
in plain sight in that currently they do nothing to stop it and
millions of people are abducted every year. Taken against their
will in the middle of the night and subjected to an untold
amount of procedures. Of course there are many different
theories on that which involve participation by military and
government forces in collusion with the extraterrestrials but
that, whether real or imagined, is not as clear as the fact that
abduction is real and is happening on a worldwide scale and the
reason is unclear and thus far apparently governments and their
military are unable to prevent these attacks on their citizens.
So I have to wonder if some of the reason for keeping a lid on
the subject is not just hiding the fact that the governments of
the world, and certainly we as citizens, are in many ways
defenseless against it.

I also respect Edgar Mitchell,
he most certainly is not going to run the risk
of contaminating his great achievements
by risking being perceived as a nut job
without good reason.
I certainly do not consider him as someone who has received one
cosmic ray too many.
Like us he is putting his trust in those whom he considers he
can trust,
in order to form an opinion on the topic.
Fortunately for us he comes from the Roswell area,
and knows the "old folk" there and trusts them.
I think his grandfather was called "Bull Mitchell"
as he was involved in the livestock trade in the vicinity.
To a superior race with superior technology,
we have no defence
other than use their own technology against them
if this was called for.
To comment on abduction,
I would have to speculate,
as I have no direct experience,
but have every sympathy for those that have experienced this
terrifying act,
so what follows is only a view that I have.
Sometime, in the early days of recent human history,
humanity had a jump start in intelligence.
My own view is that this was contrived,
of which more later,
rather than happened as a natural process of evolution.
So, what happened to us, is going on with another world right
now,
in another part of the Galaxy with a semi-sentient species
belonging to that planet,
and what the aliens require to perfect this process,
is being harvested from, and experimented on, with humans here.
As to who these aliens are,
what their reasons are for doing what they are doing,
for me to comment would be wide speculation.
One train of thought,
and it requires a major shift in the thinking process,
is that they are tasked with the job,
of providing containers for souls,
modifying genetics in a suitable species,
that it can contain the essence of what is the spiritual aspect
of what we are.
Maybe what we consider as a soul,
is the only way a creature from another dimension,
can exist in ours.
I suspect their employer,
or taskmaster
is who we consider to be God,
when all it is is the efforts of a very advanced
interdimensional species
trying to survive in our dimension.
I warned it was a radical view :)

Radical to some probably yes. But I have always thought the
theory has merit. Yes speculation. But I think there is little
else one can do especially in light of phenomena that does not
adhere to the laws of physics, as we understand them at least. I
have been looking into the research of Dr Karla Turner and her
work on abductions and I have found it to be a very interesting
take on the abduction phenomena. I located her books (now free
in PDF) which are now out of print but, to me, very interesting.
She mentions several abductees who were shown clones of their
bodies in much the same manner as you describe "containers for
souls". I think that's a very interesting theory. Here's a link
to her books and there are many videos of her lectures out
there. Unfortunately she is now deceased.

Coincidentally, Dr Karla Turner died of a fast acting brain
cancer,
which is the "preferred" method of removing whistle blowers.
Pleas see the added bit to end of the previous post about
interdimensional beings
being behind the soul container business as the only way to
inhabit our dimension long term.

Yes her death does look very suspicious. At least on the
surface. Just like Forrestal "falling" from a window in the
'40s. I believe she was theorizing that same thing with the
interdimensional beings and souls. I heard her mention that the
entities are very insistent to the abductees that they do not
need to inhabit these shells that they occupy in this dimension.
I've only just scratched the surface on her work but I'm looking
forward to reading more. She.seemed to indicate that there was a
motive by the entities for instilling this view into the
abductees.
