       Should I buy Mass Effect??

       I watched the reviews and read about it but I still don't know.
       I like RPGs like Oblivion where customization of your characters
       is available. That is kind of a turn of but the talking options
       is cool. Is this game way too hard? Are there difficulty
       settings? Is the game long? Is the combat fun and can you
       explore openly for the most part or are you on a linear path?
