Nuclear Warfare

The Biggest Stick
See Infrastructure and Development
HTML http://kerbalrp.createaforum.com/the-university/infastructure-and-development/<br
/>for buildings and costs.
Before you can use nuclear weapons against your enemies you'll
need to do a nuclear weapons test. To do this, build a bomb from
the "smaller kiloton ranges" section, detonate it somewhere, and
there you go. From there on, you can build as many bombs as you
want so long as you can afford them.
Warhead Costs
Warheads take some WGU and some PP to build. WGU is Weapons
Grade Uranium, the details on how to get this are in
Infrastructure and Development
HTML http://kerbalrp.createaforum.com/the-university/infastructure-and-development/.
Smaller Kiloton Ranges: 0.5 WGU
Requires: Atomic Bombs
10-20Kt - 20 PP
Kiloton Ranges: 1 WGU
Requires: Advanced Atomic Bombs
50kt - 25 PP
150Kt - 30PP
250Kt - 35PP
300Kt - 40PP
Megaton Ranges: 4 WGU
Requires: Hydrogen Bombs
1Mt - 75PP
Each additional Mt, add 1PP
Note, larger yield results in larger weight and does not
necessarily increase it's effects. Once you get to around 100
MT, the blast radius reaches the edge of the atmosphere and you
lose almost all of your extra power.
You also have to pay maintenance costs on each warhead you have.
To keep them nicely sealed up and such, you have to pay 1.5 MC
per cycle. Weapons that are in space are considered to be
sufficiently sealed off from the elements and do not require
maintenance.
A nuclear weapon can be launched from a launchpad, a launch silo
or an aircraft. Other methods requires you to talk to a
moderator.
Missile costs:
Short range - 450 pixel radius - 5PP - Req. Short Range
ICBMs
Medium Range - 1000 pixel radius - 10PP - Req. Mid-Range ICBMs
Long range - Can hit any point on the planet - 15PP - Req. Long
Range ICBMs
Are there mechanics for how this works? (e.g. it's effects on
units and land)
