Political System: A form of communism called Luxemburgism so
called after Rosa Luxemburg. It is much like council communism
but without a vanguard party or even a communist party. It still
practices elections at a central level even if most of the power
lies in local federal councils.
Governing Body: The Rocinante commune is mostly council
communist. Imagine a federal communist state. Each local area
elects a few people every year who's job is to make important
decisions. At any time a revote can be held if a petition is
signed by enough people. A person can not be elected more than 2
times for a local job.
From each of these local councils a few people are selected to
regional councils. These regional councils decide about more
important and more wide-effecting questions.
From each of those a few are selected to the National Council.
The national council determines things that affect the whole
nation. This includes military, healthcare, research and the
space program.
A leader is elected every two years. He or she is to represent
the country in other countries. While he or she is mostly a
diplomat they also have the power to veto changes. You can not
serve more than 2 terms here either. To be able to apply you
need to have served 2 terms at any council level.
Ideology: Luxemburgism
Economic System: Planned economy. (Planned by workers)
Leader Name: Erik Falk. Next election takes place in 2 years.
Most Followed Religion / State Religion: The state is secular,
accepting all religions as long as the religion does not
organize or wield power.
While there used to be a large following to the religion
followed in the Kratiras Empire it has since died off. Currently
the majority religion is simply atheist. The civilian population
is not forced to be religious but religion is not banned either.

History:
Roughly 2,000 years ago the Kratiras Empire conquered the
peoples living in the Rocinate area. With the fall of their
empire 1,500 years ago Rocinate left as a united Kingdom. The
kingdom lasted for almost the entire 1,500 years since the fall
of the Kratiran Empire.
80 years ago the economy was in a severe depression because of
the latest kings horrific trade policies. Widespread corruption
and high unemployment had the people doubting the kings
authority. The king's popularity was at an all time low.
People started considering alternatives to the monarchy. An
ideology from Eruaenia called communism became secretly popular.
The works were about an alternative economic and political
system where power was distributed to the people.
52 years ago the king was assassinated on his 50th birthday.
This gave the needed spark.
The workers (proletariat) acted. They wanted neither capitalist
or noble. In a violent war against the corrupt government that
had almost complete support from the military the revolution
managed to win. Reason being that for every massacre or
execution by the government the peoples will simply grew
stronger. Another thing that had a large impact was
international brigades from communist parties all over the world
aiding the people in the civil war.
After the war any remaining nobles and any known corrupt
businessmen were executed. A new constitution was created and
power was given to the people. The people and no one else. There
has been a few insurgencies in the mountains where the old
government managed to hide, but without support from the people
the old government enclaves made no progress.
It has now been exactly 50 years since the revolution ended.

The major cities are:
Eugen:
Eugen is the capital and an old city established by the Kratiran
Empire. Not much remains from that time though.
The large city features a busy port and beautiful forests to the
north.
Fredehamn:
The city was renamed following the brutal civil war. Fedehamn
means "peace harbour". It was the last major city to be taken by
the revolution.
While not as large as Eugen it also features a busy port and is
an important town for trade.
Gothe:
Gotha recently saw a period of larger than usual growth. The
city is more modern than the others and has very few old
buildings.
Urfort:
Surrounded by mountains and the sea Urfort has always been and
still is an important fortification. Hard to conquer and easy to
defend.
Roeke
A medium sized fishing town. Important for its strategic
location in the crater sea.
Jaernbo
A medium sized mining town. Houses important mining industry.

We would like to inform the Commune that our communist and
fascist parties are banned for a reason. 20 years ago, terroist
attacks by both sides culminated in a mini civil war in the
capital that left many dead. Both parties have since been barred
in parliament.

Berit Terson. The nation of Amber is coming to the support of
the nation of Eruaenia to facilitate a better diplomatic
attitude on the Aenian continent. The full force of the Amberian
