Astrothian Denunciation of Central Aenia
DIR By: MrTheChimp
Date: March 29, 2016, 1:16 am
---------------------------------------------------------
Let me tell you a story.
I, Chief Chief Lhilvai, was headed for IBIS, in order to assist
them in the Eruaenian civil war.
When off the coast of IBIS, I was intercept by a joint fleet,
from Central Aenia and Amber. Negotiations began.
In the ensuing debate, they asked that I leave, or face war. I
was in a position of strength, but, nonetheless, decided on
leaving. On the condition that they leave as well.
Now, I had been sailing with a group of Zhosans. It was the
Zhosan Eastern Fleet. They left back for Tlenen, the northern
city of Zhosa, as well as I did, when leaving the confrontation
north of IBIS.
However, the Zhosans later sent a merchant sub to deliver
shipments to the IBIS forces. This unarmed submarine was
detected by a specialized fighter, and is currently being
pursued by a Central Aenian Destroyer.
There are a number of things this reveals.
- Firstly, the Central Aenians disobey their part of the treaty
stay out of the waters off of IBIS. They had patrols of aircraft
across the waters after their promise.
- Secondly, they sent a destroyer into the waters that they
swore to not enter, once again going against their promise.
Henceforth, the Great Union of Astroth denounces the vile and
deceitful actions of the Central Aenian Federation.

Fool.
You made your mistake when you sent help to those IBIS rats.

IBIS was not actually the intended destination of the
MvA/Eastern Fleet. It was originally going to help the Monarchs,
but they were defeated by IRAF, an accomplice of the Central
Aenians. We do not have solid evidence yet, but we believe that
the Central Aenians have been funding the IRAF. The IRAF has an
incredible abundance of military and it is impossible for them
to have done this without funding from abroad.

This is completely preposterous, and we cannot believe the
Astrothian government has made these foolish claims.
In the beginning of the Eruaenian civil war, elements of the
Aenian Navy were dispatched to the region on behalf of the
Aenian Continental Allied Forces to keep track of unidentified
fleet movements in the area. Last month, a battlegroup
consisting of an aircraft carrier, two battleships, and over a
dozen smaller auxiliary ships were spotted sailing eastward
towards ACAF waters. The Aenian First Fleet and the Amberian
Fregatide Battlegroup set sail to ensure the joint
Astrothian-Zhosani fleet left alliance territory.
Aerial reconnaissance proved that the fleet was containing an
Astrothian marine brigade, estimated to make landfall in Port
Fenrir. As ACAF has stated in its doctrine and during the
Vareland Crisis, foreign troops stepping foot on Allied
territory is considered an act of war against all nations. First
Fleet Admiral Nicholas Anderson explained this to you, and as
you said, cut a deal to resolve the conflict peacefully.
However, this deal has been grossly exaggerated to the
international community. Our part of the bargain was, as Admiral
Anderson bluntly put it: Drop all ties with IBIS and leave, and
we will continue our stance of not funding IRAF, and our fleet
will sail home. The First Fleet did, in fact, sail back to its
base in Port St. Hewlett. The deal did not regard the naval
units which were already on patrol in Eruaenian waters, and they
resumed their usual patrol. Secondly, we did not promise to keep
out of IBIS waters, and we do not even recognize what you
consider IBIS waters as sovereign territory.
Furthermore, you criticize us for not sticking to our part of an
exaggerated deal, while you are in clear violation of it. The
deal is quoted as saying "cut all ties with IBIS and leave," and
we can see you have done neither. For one, the same patrol units
have seen your battlegroup already entering the area, and there
is no way the fleet could have returned to another continent and
sailed back so quickly. Secondly, the Zhosani merchant submarine
was tracked by the destroyer Clifred making landfall on IBIS
territory, as you said yourself. There is no doubt that the
submarine was delivering money and material goods to support the
IBIS war effort, showing that you have failed to comply in
cutting all ties. Do note that the Clifred is the same destroyer
which led the operation to rescue stranded Eastern Pact sailors
in these same waters no more than a month ago; its deployment
was no secret.
Chief Chief Lhilvai, you promised Admiral Anderson that you were
a man of your word. But your actions tell us that you disregard
any honor held by a verbal pact. Your actions to deceive the
world into thinking we are a nation of subversive hypocrites is
incredibly unsound and unjust.
And for the record, we are the Federation of Central Aenia.
-John Richardson, President
Federation of Central Aenia
Let the international community be aware that agents have
tracked more than 20,000,000 credits entering IBIS' war effort,
and during the naval confrontation, Lhilvai openly admitted
this. The Zhosani submarine likely contained another shipment of
money to support the war machine, even when they promised to
cease this. And we have received word that IBIS was somehow able
to procure a fully functioning battleship.
-Robert Sinclair, Director
Federal Department of Investigation
The Zhosani "merchant" submarine sailed without official
designation, made no attempts to contact us, and secretly traded
with an unrecognized state with the word "Insurgency" in their
name. No actual merchant ship would do this. The motive is clear
and against continental interests.

Aenian Naval Ship Clifred

We wished ACAF would provide financial support, but we had
better luck trying to dig up buried chests filled with gold.
With hard work we were able to re-establish a war machine with
the 9 MC we grabbed in the opening moments of the civil war.
When we routed the Monarchist forces to the sea, infantry
captured 4.5 MC from the Monarch treasury in Termina. And when
the Meritocracy forces surrendered, their reserves of 13 MC were
annexed and used to procure additional arms. The IRAF military
was constructed with a mindset that when the time came to
provide pay checks to our loyal soldiers, we would have already
tripled our size. As of now, 70 million Eruaenians live in our
land, and taxes never ceased to exist.
Meanwhile, the "Independent" Bazerian Insurgency State received
over 20 MC from foreign powers. What does it have to show for
it?
-Adam Hummel, Supreme Commander
Independent Republic Allied Forces
All ACAF member states have been following a strict policy of
not finding any of the rivaling factions. As such, the FCA has
kept to our side of the bargain and have refused IRAF's pleas
for financial support. Meanwhile:
-IBIS has received over 20 MC in Astrothian money and an
unknown amount of Zhosian, and Chief Chief Lhilvai has openly
admitted this. And a military armada large enough to unite
Eruaenia under IBIS' banner is approaching rapidly.
-The Eruaenian Monarchists were collaborating with the
Eastern Pact for a joint amphibious assault on the continent,
securing Eruaenia under their sphere of influence.
-The Eruaenian Worker's Party's military has effectively
tripled in size, clearly showing monetary support from either
the Rocinate Commune or the Republic of Askosia.
-ERUASOC has received at least 12 MC from the Zastavan State
and its military has nearly doubled in size.
Continue your efforts to trace an imaginary IRAF money trail and
you will be severely disappointed.

Federal Department of Investigation

Yes, it is correct that we sent a fleet to aid IBIS. You, in
turn, sent a fleet to stop this. Up to this point, it is all
well. You then threaten us to leave, saying you will do the same
if we leave.

The people of IBIS want nothing to do with your policies. They

None of the deal was exaggerated. Also, we did cut all ties to
IBIS. since the confrontation, we stopped funding of IBIS, and
left for home. Additionally, the claim that you have not funded
IRAF is highly unlikely. It is impossible for IRAF to have
achieved it's current military power without foreign funding,
and both Central Aenia and Amber explicitly stated their support
for the IRAF.

You may have sailed home, but you also stated that you had not
and would continue to not interfere. Your continued patrols show
a very different message. Additionally, if you had meant that
your primary fleet would leave, and that you would continue
patrolling the coast, why had you not said this? This is a very
vague point to make.

What you said is that you would leave. You kept units in the
area. This is fact. It is ultimately irrelevant that you don't
consider IBIS a sovereign state.
--- Quote from: Mobius link ---

You clearly did not stick to the deal. And how have I violated
it? To my knowledge, not a single citizen of Astroth has been to
IBIS since our confrontation.

False. Astroth has done both.

already entering the area, and there is no way the fleet could
have returned to another continent and sailed back so quickly.

On the contrary, the fleet is not near that location at all.
Additionally, it very well could have returned in short notice.
The deal was for the fleet to leave. It did.
This was your offer:
"Our deal is this: You will drop all ties with IBIS and leave,
we will continue our stance not funding IRAF, and our fleet will
also sail home."
We did this. Additionally, your offer, in itself, likely
included fake information.

The submarine was not mine. It was from Zhosa.
Additionally, the battle between IRAF and the Fuyurikuans was a
long time ago. There was no reason for the Clifred to stick
around.

You're claims are false, and you still failed to disprove your
breaking of the deal.

The IRAF Military force, that we have seen, would cost
approximately 76 MC. It this is a much greater amount than could
have possibly been procured without foreign aid.

Lhilvai, after being caught commanding a multi-national naval
armada within our alliance's waters twice, you continue to
believe you are the victim of suffering, and that the FCA must
be to blame.
The fact of the matter is you do not send the world's largest
battleship as a flagship for an invasion force with a marine
landing party in tow for anything less than an amphibious
assault. There is no doubt in our minds that you are only angry
at the Federation for halting your barbaric activities before
Eruaenia could be placed under your sphere of influence. Again,
you openly admit your joint battlegroup was focused on aiding an
insurgent state in a civil war. Foreign imperialism is something
we do not appease, and you cannot pretend to be faultless on the
matter.
You claim to have cut all ties with IBIS, yet you are openly
admitting to turning around and sailing back here to aid them.
You do not claim authority over the Zhosani submarine but
Zhosani ships comprise most of the vessels in the fleet under
your command. We consider the Zhosani agenda to be aligned with
yours.
It should have been clearly implied that the Admiral of the
First Fleet was talking in regards to the First Fleet; we do not
see how this was vague. The destroyer Clifred has been
independently under the command of Captain De Vico for the past
year, and the other ships in the patrol are not under Anderson's
jurisdiction.
The Aenian vessels which were already patrolling were indeed
continuing to patrol after the confrontation, we aren't denying
this at all. Their mission is to ensure subversive activities,
such as a large fleet attempting to land marines into a rebel
state, are stopped before they endanger the future of Eruaenia.
Something which the Astroth-Zhosa command is completely guilty
of.
You claim to be free of guilt because no Astrothians touched the
ground, but that is only because we were there to stop you. Do
not try to pretend that you didn't attempt to land your marines
at Port Fenrir while we were discussing deal terms.
You continue to claim that we are at fault solely for the
strategic genius of the IRAF forces. The estimation of IRAF's
military force is a testament in itself that we did not
intervene; if we truly did invest over 70 MC into the conflict,
the Aenian economy would collapse. For that matter, the Aenian
economy is not even worth that amount.
Lhilvai, you have absolutely no proof that the FCA has aided in
the civil war, primarily because the intervention you speak of
doesn't exist. The FCA has been and will continue to work
alongside other ACAF member states to prevent any foreign powers
from deliberately conquering Eruaenia in their time of need. You
have only convinced me that you are trying to do exactly that.
-John Richardson, President
Federation of Central Aenia
I absolutely cannot take the Chief Chief serious when he is
accusing us of intervening in a civil war when he has openly
admitted to be doing so. Lhilvai is acting like a child; just
bitter that his puppet faction is inevitably going to lose.
-Nicholas Anderson, Admiral
Federal Department of the Navy
The number provided by IBIS looks like it is made up, or perhaps
their intelligence needs to be revised significantly. Mr.
Lincoln failed to realize a tremendous portion of the more
expensive divisions of IRAF forces were either ours to begin
with or absorbed from the Meritocracy. The IRAF war machine has
only produced 800 tanks, 1,200 anti air halftracks, 3,000 men,
and 36 aircraft. In order to meet our financial constraints,
factories only operated at half efficiency, decreasing the cost
by 50%. Our bureaucracy skills are nothing to be trifled with.

Independent Republic Allied Forces

Under my sphere of influence? Clearly you don't understand. We
were aiding a secessionist state, and a Monarchist movement.
IBIS, the secessionist state, is a secessionist state. In it's
very nature it is not under another nations sphere of influence.
As for the monarchs, who we were never able to assist, they were
directly aided by multiple other nations. If I wanted a section
of Eruaenia under Astroth's control, it would not be a faction
that was receiving more aid from another source. It's simply
illogical.
