1949 - August - an offshoot of cave rot is found in Nisi
Quentiam; while the effects on the skin remain relatively
similiar, the lethality rate shoots up incredibly. It causes
cessation of all higher brain functions except hunger..
1950 - January - Nisi Quentiam's main population centers begin
to be overrun. The council rolls the dice; and the dice tell
them to flee the country.
1950 - February - Fuyurikuan firebombing commences, disregarding
all international disapproval.
1951 - March - The Infection spreads to all continents of the
world.
1951 - April - Eruaenian walls are put on full operation, with
an estimated 150,000 troops patrolling all five walls. People
swarm to get in, but are mostly shot to death trying.
1951 - June - Sanfred district of Eruaenia is lost.

Traits: Expert detective, special forces veteran, skilled in
many military firearms.
Description:
Special Agent Thompson started his military career by becoming
an officer in 1936, at the start of the Aenian Continental War.
He served as a general infantryman during the Istas Mountains
campaign and fought during the Evacuation of St. Ark. After
allied forces retreated to North Point, Thompson was selected to
train for the newly created 57th Ranger Reginent, a division of
6,000 highly trained commandoes. During Operation Bunker Shot,
Thompson led a platoon of Rangers through an airdrop behind
Eruaenian lines to destroy a series of bridges before enemy
reinforcements could cross. Thompson continued serving in the
Rangers until they were disbanded in 1945, and then he joined
the FDI.
In the FDI, Thompson was placed in charge of the Ferbonti Field
Office established directly after the monument bombings. He was
a leader of the joint FDI/RIB investigations of the fascist and
communist movements, and commanded a secret raid on President
Fournloke's estate. Later, Thompson took part in the crackdown
of Rocinate involvement in Eruaenian communism. In late 1948 he
led a team of agents to free hostages in the Aenian embassy
after the buildings were captured by fascist terrorists.
In August 1949 Thompson was transferred to the FDI field office
in Āstri, where a team of agents and FDDC scientists worked
alongside the Astrothian government to locate the source of the
Cave Rot disease. Unfortunately the work was compromised when
the disease mutated and infected overran the field office.
Thompson and his men escaped, and their whereabouts have been
unknown until February 1951. An Aenian cargo plane picked them
up from Nogdan island and flew them to North Point for further
orders.

Job: Adviser of the Clan council, Heir of Āstri
Traits: Trained with various rifles and Traditional Astrothian
dueling. Also learned a lot about survival in the wild while
living in Zhosa.
Description:
Mora's uncle (Her father's sister's husband) Lhilvai was the
leader of Astroth at the time of the invasion. The Astrothian
resistance was impressive and surprisingly effective, but
ultimately failed and ended at the Last Battle of Migh. Lhilvai
made his last stand in the Great Square of Migh, while buying
time for Mora and a number of citizens to escape. Him, Iskroth,
and the last 6 members of the Mighan Guard were last seen being
swarmed by hundreds of infected, and are all presumed dead.
After the fall of Migh in early February of 1950, Mora made her
way North to the Zhosan wasteland. Because of the temperature
and vast lands with very few population, the infection took a
while to take root there.
In October of 1950, Mora and a group of Astrothians and Zhosans
fled to Tlenen and boarded a submarmine there. Tlenen fell to
the disease a month later, in late November.
The submarine, Northern Bison, was able to stay livable for a
while, making use of several hidden Astrothian supply caches.
However, it is now 1951, and the caches have been depleted of
fuel. The Northern Bison began to limp along toward the
Federation of Central Aenia, after it heard a transmission
coming from roughly that direction. The transmission stopped
repeating a month ago, in May, but the Bison stays its course,
hoping that some resistance still exists somewhere on Hostren...
