       Old Zhosan isn't really one religion, but a category of various
       related religions. Some of the common deities are:

       History:
       [spoiler]Little is known about the origins of the Zhosan
       poeople, but it is theorized that they share the same ancestry
       as the Astrothians, with the ancient peoples of Astroth
       splitting off of the Zhosan nomads, and settling where they now
       live.
       The government of the Zhosan league is always headed by the
       Matriarch, a woman elected to the position by the people's vote.
       Ever since ancient times, the men have been the primary force in
       hunting and conflict, with the women always staying back with
       the children in the camp. The women have always been in charge
       of the tribes, and been expected to raise the tribe to
       greatness, as they would a child.
       Until recently the Zhosans had very minimal technology and high
       illiteracy rates.
       However, in 1920s their western neighbors in Astroth began to
       send help. Most of the people that assiseted them were
       Bu'erdhist missionaries, from Thikda and Egda. These people
       helped the Zhosans to build up an infrastructure in the southern
       lands. This part of Zhosa is called Rigdov. This technological
       boom quickly spread north, to the region of Tlenen. Nonetheless,
       most of the central region is still essentially a wasteland of
       untamed forests, mountains, and tundras. The people living in
       the wasteland are primarily illiterate and follow the old Zhosan
       religions. In Tlenen and Rigdov however, the bulk of the
       population is Bu'erdhist.
       In 1926, there was a major push for the nation to unify, and
       people of Rigdov and Tlenen were able to convince the rest of
       Zhosa to unite under one banner. This was officially completed
       in 1935. The following year, there was a council held which
       included all the religious, political, and economic leaders.
       They elected the first Matriarch of Zhosa. This woman was
       Matriarch Skon. She ruled peacefully and effectively for 9
       years, until her untimely death at the hands of separatists from
       the wasteland, who wished to secede from Zhosa. The current
       matriarch, Matriarch Belva, was elected 1946.[/spoiler]

       This sounds like an excellent idea. Where in Zhosa would you
       wish to have an embassy? Tlenen in the north, or Rigdov in the
       south.
