Twisted Spirits (the rising legend)
Chapter 8. Ice Kori?
*Beep Beep Beep* "Kage wake up, hey you have visitors." A
familiar voice said.
Kage mummbled a bit and slowly opened her eyes and things were
all a bit blurry.
"The room is so white... Where am I?" Kage asked. "Your in the
academy's
infirmiry." The voice said again. Kage sat up and rubbed her
eyes then looked over
to Ice, Bluefire, and the headmaster. "Kage, your up. Thats
good. You lost a lot of
blood in the battle but that mission wasn't yours." The
headmaster said. Ice walked
up to Kage's bed and sat on the edge of it almost in tears
seeing her friend sitting
there in pain. "Kage you didn't have to go after me-" Ice said
before she was
interupted. Kage had her arms wrapped around Ice's shoulders as
she hugged her.
"I thought you were going to die, i couldn't let you die!" Kage
said as tears rolled
down her face. Ice stood up and walked out of the room. Kage
paused and looked
over to her with a worried expression as if she had done
something wrong.
Bluefire walked over to Kage's bed and then sat on her knees in
the floor. "Ice has
to leave now, she has to go somewhere. I dont know where but its
really important
and it will take a while for her to be back." Blue said quietly.
"I'll go with her-" "No."
The headmaster interupted. "Kage you need to stay at the school,
heal up, and
learn to control your shifting abilities." He said strongly.
Bluefire and the headmaster
walked out of the room closing the door behind them.
"So, Icey. How it's been i heard you almost failed that last
mission of yours!" Fuigo
teased. "Brother, you dont have to be so mean to her. I mean its
not like she ment to
fail." Ragae carried on. "You two shouldn't be on the school
grounds at day. Im
going to have to ask you to go back to your dorm rooms." Ice
said sternly. "Fuigo!" A
girl yelled in the distance as she ran up to him. "Fuigo i
bought you this!" She said
as she held out a box of candy. "Thank you." Fuigo said in
return as he bowed to
her. "Oh yeah, Ice, aren't you supposed to be packing up? Your
leaving right? Come
on lets go get your things from your room." the girl said as she
took Ice's hand and
walked her to her room. "Im perfectly capable of walking myself
to my room, thank
you." Ice said. the girl let go of her hand and looked over to
Ice. "We have an
exchange student taking your place in this room today." the girl
said. "I know, i'll
grab my stuff and be out..." Ice said quietly. Ice packed her
things and left ther room
without another word, Then she headed out of the academy and
began walking.
Bluefire looked to her sister leaving and wasn't paying any
attention to the teacher.
"Bluefire! How is it that the soul is transfered to the heart in
the process of trying to
lock it away?!" The teacher ask. Bluefire was suprised and
stuttered and mummbles
trying to answer the question until finially answered, "I dont
know. Im sorry." "Write
me a report on it tonight Blue. Its due tomorrow. Class
dismissed." The teacher
replied. Blue sighed and walked out of the class room. She
walked down the empty
hallway and then stummbled into an older girl who was taller
than her. She looked
up to the girl but her face was covered in hair and she wasn't
able to see her. "Im
sorry i didnt mean to-" Blue walked off before finishing her
sentence as her voice
faded.
Who was this girl?
