Twisted Spirits (the rising legend)
Chapter 7. Brother?
"Kage! Get up!" Ice yelled from the livingroom. She had already
gotten
dressed for school. Kage yawned and opened her eyes to a dark
blue pup.
"uhm..." Kage rubbed her eyes. Bluefire pounced on Kage's face
and
yipped, "Get up! The new dorm rooms are being given today!" Kage
pushed
BlueFire off the bed and rolled bsck over tossing the blanket
over her face.
"Oh no you didn't!" Blue said as she pulled the blanket off of
Kage.
The bells rang as Ice walked into the headmasters office. "Sir?
I would like
to obtain that mission." The head master looked a bit confused,
but only on
purpous. "I know nothing of the sort, Ice Kori." "Sir. I know
you have the
mission, i would like to take it now." She argued. "It seems
i'll never get you
off my back if I don't give you this mission, ey? So here." the
headmaster
replied as he slid a scroll over to Ice. Ice paused for a while.
"Ice... I think its
time for you to hear this." The headmaster said sadly and
deeply. "Yes sir? Is
everything ok?" Ice replied worried. "Its about your mother...An
accident
happened when she tried to complete this mission. She fell to
the hands of
this enemy. He's very strong. Im afraid you might fall aswell."
Ice's eyes
showed sadness, but revenge she turned her back to the
headmaster, "I
must go take my mothers soul from this demon... Even if it kills
me." She
then headed out of the room.
"Attention ladies and gentleman! The new dorms are open! Your
partner
sheets are going to be given to you before you leave school
today. You will
all go to your new rooms tomorrow morning!" The announcer said
as she
spoke in a high voice. An uproar started and everyone started
talking to
each other in excitement or anger. Some of the students didn't
want dorm
rooms. "All of the students who wouldn't like a dorm room are
allowed to
stay home fo the nights and school at day." She finished. One
student
raised their hand, that was BlueFire. "What about the night
students?" She
asked. "The night students stay in their building and we stay in
ours, they
will be assigned their own rooms by the headmaster." The
announcer said
annoyed. Bluefire looked around at the people who were looking
at her, but
mainly she looked around for Ice.
Everyone went home and Bluefire had other ideas. This was the
first time
she didn't meet her sister after school. She was a bit worried
and walked
home. Her arrival was kind of quiet. She searched the kitchen,
the
bedroom, and the backyard. Ice was nowhere to be found. "Ice?!"
She
called out for her sister. Kage came out of her room rubbing her
eyes. "Blue,
keep it down! Im sleeping." Kage said lazily. "Ice isn't home
have you seen
her? I didn't meet up with her after school because i couldn't
find her! Do
you know where she is? Can you help me find her?!" Blue said
rather panicy.
"Uhm... No I have no clue where she is... I haven't seen her
since this
morning. "Im going out to find her! I'll ask the headmaster!"
Blue rushed to
the door but was stopped by Kage now in her canine form. "Go
call
BlackFalcon to watch you, I'll deal with this. Its getting dark
and you don't
need to be out at dark." Kage said protectively. Bluefire
couldn't argue with
Kage's expression yet tried. Her attempt failed and she went
into the
kitchen and picked up the phone.
Blackfalcon had shown up at the door and walked in like she
owned the
place. "Ok Bluey, i'll watch ya. Maybe this time we can make
something
with paper mashae!" Blackfalcon leaped onto the couch and turned
the TV
on. Kage said nothing but walked out the door to go find Ice.
She first
headed to go see the headmaster about skipping a night of
school. "Ice is
on a very important mission. She needs to do this alone." The
headmaster
said. "Tell me where she is, Now!" Kage snarled. "Your canine
form doesn't
ompare to my 5 forms. So don't get an attitude with me!" The
headmaster
said with a glare. Kage's facial markings glew green a bit and
her eyes did
the same. "I'll find her myself then!" Kage responded. Kage
dashed out of
the room and searched for a trail of Ice's scent. Kage's scenses
are
hightened a bit and she can detect divine powers. This lead her
on a trail
and she followed it for about 30 miles.
A bush behind her shook and a couple twigs snapped. Out of the
bush came
Red Eye. "The headmaster sent me to bring you back." He spoke.
"To bad,
eh? Im not going!" Kage snapped and continued running. Red Eye
followed
her. Eventualy they found blood. Kage's eyes widened as she
looked at Ice's
body laying at the feet of another white canine. "Well hello
there? My little
sister is just resting. Its no big deal so, be on your way.
Unless... You'd like to
join her." The unfamiliar canine said. Ice's body layed next to
the one of her
dead mothers'. Kage lunged at the white and black wolf. He just
simply
dodged the attack. "Your weak. Weaker than my dear sister, Ice."
He said as
he chuckled. "N-no. Why would do that to your own family!?
Why!?" Kage
said surprised. "Young Master, you see, they refused to turn to
the
darkness. So they had to be killed." He said sternly. "Im not
your master,
and im not going to let you get away with this!" Kage was soon
in her
human form. Aswell as the Boy. "My name is Kurai Hikari. Also
known as
"Angel of darkness". So how about it Twisted? Wanna die?" He
chuckled as
he pulled a sword from the tree. Kage was back to her canine
form in a
flash. The fight went on for a while until finally Kage was to
tired, and to cut
up to fight anymore. She fell to the ground from a lack of
blood.
Dehydration. Everything was blurry in her sight. All she saw was
Karai Kikari
holding the silver blade up. Before he could peirce the blade
into her a
white blur had taken him down. A flash of blue and white had
made blood
spill on the forest floor. A cold nudge of a muzzle on was
Kage's neck before
she had completely closed her eyes.
