Twisted Spirits (the rising legend)
Chapter 5. Difficulties?
"Kage were heading off to school!" Ice yelled from the
livingroom. A
loud thud came from Kage's room as she jolted towards Ice. "I'v
tried
all night to transform back into human form!" Kage whimpered.
"Go to
bed. It's to early in the morning for you to be awake, my little
nocturnal
doggy. Now go sleep." Ice said as she patted Kage's head. Blue
headed out the door and yelled back for Ice to hurry along. "I
have to
go, now go rest." Ice said as she walked out the door and closed
it
behind her. Kage yawned, "Why do I have to be put in night
class."
Kage hurried along back to the room and jumped up onto the bed.
Shortly after she had shoved her muzzle into the blanket she
began to
fall asleep.
Later that evening a crash was herd in the kitchen. "Intruder!"
Kage
thought. She then dashed out of bed and into the kitchen. Her
fur
stood up like upside-down nails. "Who are you!? What are you
doing
here!?" Kage blurted out with a snarl. "My question is, who are
you?"
the intruder replied. "I asked first, and if you don't answer
i'll rip you
limb from limb!" Kage growled once more. "go back to bed Kage,
i'v
herd all about you. And i'm Blackfalcon." the intruder
continued. "Your
that dog from last night!" Kage went on. "Mhm" Blackfalcon said
as
she grabbed a can of soda from the fridge. Now shutting the
fridge
Blackfalcon takes a sip of the soda, "You just gonna growl at
me, or
do you want me to help you get back to human form?" Kage calmed
down and thought 'If Ice and Blue trust her, I guess I will. Her
feet
straighted as she stood up tall. "Good. Your trained!"
Blackfalcon
joked. "Now hurry up and help me!" Kage snapped. "Fine, fine."
Blackfalcon said as she kneeled down to the ground. In other
words,
"Kage's level". "Ok now, think of not having a muzzle. Think of
standing on your hind legs and you get the idea, right?"
Blackfalcon
said. "Ok..." Kage replied. Kage then sat there and thought
about it. A
green light covered her body until it made the shape of a human.
Kage
blinked and then looked down,"Im, yay! Thank you!" Blackfalcon
smiled, "Ok its not all the time ima be helping you, im not your
tutor.
By the way, you still have dog ears." Black said. Kage put her
hand on
the side of her head, "Nooooooo! I thought I did it right!" "Its
ok, it
happens a lot. You will get used to it." Black said as she
walked into
the livingroom. "Well hey wait a minute! Arn't you supposed to
be at
school?" Kage said as she followed her. "Yup. I don't feel like
going."
Blackfalcon replied. "Well... I have night class." Kage said.
"Night
class!? Why in the world do you have night class!?" Blacfalcon
responded. "Forget it, its fine." Kage said as she sat next to
Blackfalcon on the couch.
(Ice and Bluefire walk in after school.)
"Ka-...." Ice almost yelled. She looked over to Blackfalcon and
Kage
who were both passed out on two different arms of the couch.
Bluefire
dashed behind the couch and then grabbed Kage's floppy dog ears,
"Look at em! Their so fluffy!" Kage woke up and was almost
embarassed, "Do-don't pull my ears!" "Well get your night
uniform on
and get ready to go to school!" Bluefire said. Blackfalcon
jumped up
quickly and looked around. She then tried to sneak away slowly.
"Blackfalcon! You skipped school today!" Ice scolded.
Blackfalcon
paused for a second... "I just uhm... Didn't... feel well..."
She
hesitated. "I have to watch the school grounds tonight, so watch
Bluefire." Ice said as she grabbed the back of Blackfalcons
shirt.
"Okay." Blackfalcon replied. Bluefire went to the room and
changed
out of her school uniform. Ice put on the academy symbol which
was
in the form of a badge. It was placed to the right of her chest.
"Kage,
I'll walk you to school. I hear tomorrow they are opening up the
dorms
so we won't be staying here on week-days." "Dorm rooms? Why?
Will
we get partners?" Kage began to go on with questions emediatly.
"I
will answer your questions on our way to the school." Ice said.
"And
your a staff member?" Kage finished off with her questions.
"Yes, i'll
explain more on our way. Go get ready!" Ice demanded. Kage
hurried
off to her room and got dressed in her night class uniform. All
she
could think about now is, Why is there a night class? Kage got
ready
and came out of the room and saw Bluefire and Blackfalcon
sitting on
the couch flipped through channels on TV to watch. "Come on
let's go
Kage." Ice said. "On it." Kage responded. "Bye guys, cya
tomorrow."
Kage said before she walked out.
Ice and Kage walked down the trail to the academy. "Oh yeah, hey
Ice. What do you do, like whats your job?"
ICE: "Kage, I watch out to make sure the day class students
arn't
wondering around at night."
KAGE: "Why would they do that?" Kage replied.
ICE: "They have a "thing" for night class students. The night
class
students are apparently better looking than us day class
students."
KAGE: "Oh really, why so?"
ICE: "Demons are just better looking than humans I guess..."
Kage stopped dead in her tracks. Her attitude changed to more a
angry one. "So thats why im in night class? Because im a
"Demon"."
Kage said with more of a growl. "No, no thats not what... Kage.
Im
sorry but you arn't human and we can't let day class students
know
what night class students are!" Ice said back. "Thats my job. To
keep
the true identedy of the night class students a secret." Kage
calmed
down a bit but was still pretty angry that she knows shes going
to have
to be treated like a monster. "Your still the same Kage. Your
still gonna
be my best friend. And no one can change that." Ice spoke
calmly.
They walked through the gates into the schoolyard and from no
where
two boys jumped out infront of them. "Well, well, well. Looks
like we
have a Diciplinary, and... Whats this? The Twisted?" One of the
boys
joked. "Get to class you two. You should know your not supposed
to
be out here." Ice said sternly. "Calm down, we just wanted to
say hello
to our new student." The other boy said. "I said go to class,
theres no
time for introductions right now, Fuigo and Ragae." Ice then
said as
she transformed to her canine form. The two boys turned into
what
seems like a lion and a panther. "Now c'mon lets pump it up!"
Fuigo
said. "I totally agree brother!" Ragae said. Ice growled and
jumped
forward to Fuigo the lion, but Ragae the panther lunged onto her
and
had her pinned. Kage stood there not sure what to do at the
momment. "Look at those ears on the Twisted, arn't they fuzzy,
Ragae?" Fuigo said as he chuckled. Ice yelped a bit but growled
in
return. Iceshards emerged from the ground throwing Ragae back.
Ragae yowled and stood up. "Stupid disipline watchers." Fuigo
said.
Ragae laughed, "Yeah they always ruin the fun." Fuigo the lion
dashed
forward about to pin Kage but before they knew it, a grey blur
went
past bringing Fuigo to the ground. "Red Eye! I-I- Im sorry sir,
I was
just-" "Shut your mouth and go to class or else!" Red Eye
growled.
"Yes sir!" The two, Fuigo and Ragae, ran off to class back into
their
human forms. "I am sorry about that, Kage." Red Eye said, for
now he
was in his human form. "What about me? I was the one that got
hurt!"
Ice growled. Her paws shifting to hands. Her tail fading. Her
human
form now hiding her canine form. "Oh, yes... The Headmaster
wants
to see you." Red Eye said as he looked over to her lazily. Ice
grumbled
and walked off, "I'll see you later Kage." "Those two are always
getting
in trouble. But for now, Welcome to the Academy. Supirittokurosu
Academy." [Spirit Cross Academy]
