Twisted Spirits (the rising legend)
Chapter 3. Training?
"Wake up! Come on time to get up!" Bluefire shouted as jumped on
the bed Kage was laying in. "Time to go train! You have work to
do!"
Bluefire plopped down onto Kage. "but I dont want to get up..."
Kage
yanwed. "If you dont get out of this bed I will drag you out of
it!"
Bluefire snapped a bit jokingly. Ice walked in and dragged
Bluefire off
of Kage, "Come on we have to go to school. Mom will take care of
Kage and then enroll her into school for tomorrow." Kage sat up
and
stretched. "Whats for breakfast? Im starved." Kage said tiredly.
"French toast!" Frostflame said walking in with a spatula in her
hand
and a cooking apron on over her. Kage's eyes widened at the
words
"french toast" and she seemed less tired now. "Ok! Lets go sit
down!"
Kage leaped into the kitchenand sat at the table. Ice and
Bluefire went
to their room and got dressed for school. The two sisters walked
out of
the room and into the kitchen. "Uniforms?" Kage spoke curiously.
"For
school. We have to wear them, I hate 'em." Ice said as she sat
in the
chair next to Kage. Bluefire sprung to the stove cheerfully,
"Lets eat!
Is it done?" Frostflame took out four plates and sat them down
on the
table. Then she scooped up the french toast and put some on each
plate. After she had done so Ice and Bluefire quickly reached
for their
plate and the syrup, then they began to eat. Kage looked at the
plate a
bit nervous to touch it. "Here you go, Kage. You better start
eating, if
you don't then you will have to wait till lunch to eat."
Frostflame said
as she handed Kage a plate of french toast. "Oh, alright." were
the
last words Kage said before she had began to eat.
After breakfast Ice and Bluefire were shoving each other out the
door.
"Hurry, get your fat butt out of the way!" Ice shouted as she
tried
getting out of the doorway. "I am NOT fat! I just... I'm
pleasently
plump! Plus it's still pup weight from a while back." Bluefire
snapped.
"Well loose it! Its in my way." Ice snapped back. "You two
missed the
last week of school, now stop your arguing and go!" Frostbite
glared to
them both. The two glared at each other and walked out the door.
Bluefire flicked her tail and they walked through the woods and
to the
road. At the road was a big yellow bus and they hopped on it and
rode
away to school.
"Uhm, Frostflame?" Kage looked to Frostflame with a puzzled look
on
her face. "If Bluefire has a tail and dog ears, and Ice has blue
and
white hair and that star on her eye... Won't the others make fun
of
them? Wouldn't it be embarassing?" Frostflame looked to Kage,
"They
go to a certain school. This school is one where they learn to
collect
the souls of demons, and control their ability to shift into
animal form."
Kage looked down and put her hand lightly to her chest,
"Souls... Like
mine? Im a demon right?" Frostflame put her hand on Kage's head
and said softly yet cheerfully, "Not for long, Kage. Now lets go
get you
some new clothes." They walked out of the house and through the
woods a little ways then got to the road. About an hour later
they made
it to the store on foot. As they walked into the store Kage
immediately
noticed a red shirt. "I like that shirt." Kage spoke as she kept
her eyes
locked onto it. "That T-shirt? Its just a red shirt why do you
want that?"
Frostflame slightly sighed. "Its not to much, and clothes are to
wear
right? Im not entering a fashion show." Kage looked up to
Frostflame
then they walked to the service desk. After about thirty minutes
in the
store they walked out and Kage was in new clothes. "About
school...
Am I going to the same school with Ice and Bluefire?" Kage
questioned. "You sure are. I don't know if they would take a
demon in
though. I mean Kage-en's little reincarnation? Lets see how that
will
work out." Frostflame laughed a bit at the words.
Kage looked over to a stray cat and kneeled down to it. It
meowed and
quickly hissed at her. Kage backed up frieghtened a bit. "Was is
something I did?!" Kage blurted out as she ran behind
Frostflame.
"Nothing you did, but I think you might have a canine form."
Frostflame said before she had walked back on the trail through
the
woods. Kage followed behind her and looked around at the trees
and
sighed. They made it home and Frostflame looked over to Kage,
"Kage wait here. Im going for a pack meeting. I will be gone for
about
a week." Kage looked suprised, "A week? What about food? Aren't
you going to enroll me in school?!" Frostflame put on her coat
and
headed to the door. "Ice will show you to the school and she is
a very
good cook. Bluefire will, well she will be Blue. Maybe Ice can
teach
you how to cook. But when you get to the school they will assign
you a
teacher. Now then I have to go, stay here and wait for the two
to get
home. Frostflame hurried out the door and instantly tunred into
a wolf.
"Mom I'm home!" Bluefire shouted as the door flew open. Kage,
who
was asleep on the couch, raised up quickly. "Blue, there is no
need to
shout!" Ice agued. "Well your shouting now arn't you?" Bluefire
smarted off. "Go to the room and change out of your uniform."
Ice told
her. "Fine." Bluefire headed off to the room. "Hey Kage wheres
mom?"
Ice questioned curiously. "She went to a "Pack Meeting", she
will be
gone for a week. She said you would show me the school
tomorrow?"
Kage replied. "Aww man. That means I have to watch Blue. Oh
well,
and yeah I will show you around the school. While we are there
they
can assign you a teacher." Ice groaned. Ice headed off to her
room
and changed then they both walked out of the room. "Kage, go
shower
up. I will make dinner." Ice said as she walked into the
kitchen.
"Bluefire come on, lets make spaghetti." "Ok!"Blue replied. Kage
went
to the restroom and took a shower. She then came out, dressed,
and
with a white towel on her shoulders. "Done!" Kage shouted and
smiled. "I feel all clean and what-not, it feels weird." "You
will get used
to it." Ice replied as she walked over to Kage. Ice then stood
infront of
Kage and grabbed the towel on her shoulders and put it on her
head
as she dried he hair off. Kage laughed a little, "My hair is
fine!" They
walked into the kitchen and sat and ate. That night soon ended.
Tomorrow will be a big day.
