PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE THREAD
Order of operations for all playback troubleshooting
1) run a speed test
2) clean cache. (under the system tab inside the media player)
3) reboot your router and modem or you can also have your
provider send you a new signal.
4) clean cache inside of netmaster tools on the home screen
5) try a manual update ---> <a
href="

6) factory reset your box to for sure determine if the box is
the culprit or outside factors then perform a fresh install --->

Maintenance (cache cleaning is done automatically now upon each
bootup of the media player but you can do it manually as well)
1) Run "Clean Cache" under the system tab inside the media
player at least 2-3x a week. This will purge misc files that are
no longer needed and hogging up memory.
2) Run a manual update once or twice a month to ensure your
media player is always up to date. You can check the Manual
update page to see what the latest version of the build is. --->

Tips/Tricks/Suggestions
General tips
1) Leave your box on 24x7. When you are done for the day using
your box, leave your box on so that it can keep in contact with
the servers and update on its own periodically. Simply press the
Red Media button twice about 10 minutes before you plan to use
it again to do a background update check so that it will be good
to go by the time you are ready to use it and all logins and
passwords for premium add-ons are refreshed.
2) You can purchase a wireless keyboard/mouse combo and use the
keyboard to type in things quicker than using the remote
control. This one is pretty convenient since it is both in one
unit ---> Here
3) If you turn your box off, press the red media button first to
go back to the home screen, then turn it off. This will ensure
there are less chances of apps glitching.
4) Reboot your modem and router once a week or so. This is a
good practice with or without a streaming box since signal
errors can occur in networking devices and affect every device
on your network. You may not even realize it unless you do this
kind of streaming since it is more intensive and sensitive to
network communication issues than gaming systems, phone
browsing, netflix, youtube, etc.
5) Using the 5ghz band of Wi-Fi is generally faster than the
2.4ghz band. The trade-off is range. 5ghz = fast and less range
and 2.4ghz = slower max speed but can penetrate walls better and
go further.
6) Anytime you experience streaming problems, the first step is
to run a speed test, always run a speed test to determine if
your box is getting sufficient speed at that moment in time. 99%
of all issues are either connection issues (local connection or
the server of the link you are clicking on) or user error.

Watching movies
1) All the better add-ons for watching movies will be listed in
the bottom row under that category. Several add-ons have search
functions built into them and you simply can search for a
specific title and see if it is available. If it is a very very
recent movie, especially still in theaters, there may not always
be a stream available for it. If you search several add-ons and
all of them return "No Stream Available" then it is simply not
online yet. Many times, you will find an icon for a title even
though it isn't out yet. This is just a placeholder for later
when the movie does have a stream available. You can also
sometimes see the movie trailers for them by hovering over it,
then pressing the menu button on the remote and selecting "View
Trailer".
2) Sources/Providers, each title in many of the add-ons will
pull up a large assortment of links to choose from. These links
will typically have two names in each one, a provider and a
source. Pay attention to the names because some are better than
others and make note of which ones generally give you the best
results with the least amounts of buffering. if any... so that
you can look for those when searching different titles. Some
require "Pairing Authorization" and you can refer to the page on
that here ---> [a

Watching TV Shows on demand
1) All the better add-ons for watching TV Shows will be listed
in the bottom row under that category. Several add-ons have
search functions built into them and you simply can search for a
specific title and see if it is available. If it is available,
you click on it, then it will pull up the seasons, then after
choosing the season, it pulls up the episodes in that season. If
it is a very very obscure or unpopular show, there may not
always be a stream available for it. If you search several
add-ons and all of them return "No Stream Available" then it may
have used to be available but is simply not online at the
moment.
2) Sources/Providers, each episode you choose in many of the
add-ons will pull up a large assortment of links to choose from.
These links will typically have two names in each one, a
provider and a source. Pay attention to the names because some
are better than others and make note of which ones generally
give you the best results with the least amounts of buffering.
if any... so that you can look for those when searching

Watching General Live TV or Sports
1) The best add-ons to watch live TV would be in the Premium
section.
2) If you get buffering, first verify your speed in the speed
test, then try cleaning your cache under the system tab, and
also you can try to reboot your internet equipment. Use another
add-on to see if it is every add-on buffering or just an issue
with a single add-on. The add-on could be experiencing an issue
on their side so you may be good with others.
