How do I find local channels in my area?
As you may have noticed, your box gives you a ton of quality
programming options, especially things we cannot watch locally
for free on an antenna. There are however people who would like
or wish to have more local programming. There are certain
add-ons which have a selection of local programming from
different areas. Add-on's come and go and neither I, nor anyone
I know controls them, but there's a chance your area may be one
of them. But to be absolutely sure you have YOUR local news and
TV channels I definitely recommend a good antenna just like the
old days. Cable and Satellite companies have done a great job at
brainwashing us to think we have always needed them to get local
channels. I remember when they used to actually charge extra for
people to get their local channels! People just went along with
it and it has become embedded into people's minds now that
antennas are obsolete technology now. But that is far from the
case!
For anyone interested in an antenna for their local broadcast TV
to have alongside your box, there are a few websites you can go
to to see what channels should be available in your area with a
good antenna. They even show you where your antenna should face
in order to get the best signals for the different channels. An
antenna with a 35 mile+ range is best.. try for 50 to 100 miles
if you can, check on amazon. I have a 75 mile antenna that you
mount on a pole to the side of your house but I just have it in
my attic and have a splitter from that to 3 rooms in my house.

Under the Movies tab, simply click on the tab itself to choose
an add-on you want to use, or you can use the selections under
the movie tab and explore what is there to offer. go underneath
and choose On Demand for a selection of 1 click on demand
movies. You can also click on "Search" to search for a specific
title or click the various categories such as "in theaters",
"most popular", etc
Same concept for TV Shows under that tab.
