Full name of Character: Doctor Katrin Ilnata
Race: Drell
Gender: Female
Class: Engineer/Medic
Social class: Moderately wealthy
Physical Appearance: 5'7, athletic build.
Age: 28(as of 2197)
Eye Color: Black
Hair color length and style: N/A
Skin tone and type: Dark viridian skin, soft scales
Distinguishing marks: Pink markings around her eyes and
cheekbones
Personality: Eidetic memory has taken it's toll on her sanity,
and as such, she has no qualms at taking her own drugs
recreationally to forget what she's been through. She's quick to
anger, but a healer at heart. She cannot stand losing a patient,
and at first, she wanted to save everyone, assuring every
grieving mother and widow that she could save their loved one.
These days, she's loosened her standards a bit, but won't let
someone die through her inaction.
Greatest Strength: Her Eidetic memory allows her to know the
biology of every race she's ever operated on (most all of them)
and can manipulate it as such
Greatest Weakness: Needs some form of painkiller or hallucinogen
to not fall into a flashback.
Soft spot: People in a situation similar to her
Biggest Vulnerability: Distrust of anyone that could out her
habits, and losing people she could have saved.
Personal History(what affects them): Doctor Ilnata was just
entering Medical school when the Reaper wars reared their heads,
but was rushed through the program when her talent was noticed
and they realized her memory skills made surgery easy. It was
this rush that exposed the idealistic Katrin to the horrors of
war far before she was ready. She became well known as a skilled
surgeon and got a job at Huerta memorial after the war as head
surgeon and Xenobiologist. When flashbacks started driving her
mental, she began taking drugs to cope, but never enough to
impact her work. She doesn't spend much time with the opposite
(or sometimes the same) sex, but when she does, the relationship
never quite moves along for reasons that're beyond her.
Traits:
Optimist or pessimist? Depends on her situation. Katrin is a
logical thinker and believes those who always believe one thing
over another are stupid.
Introvert or extrovert? Introvert, but becomes more outgoing
when high
Drives and motives: Maintaining her medical license and ensuring
that she has enough drugs to stave off flashbacks
Talents: Extremely dexterous on top of her eidetic memory. Has a
knack for electronics. Practices Drell Martial Arts as a hobby.
Character flaws: As an addict, Katrin will place herself above
others when it comes to staving off her feared flashback-coma
