       Siege weapon companions?

I was wondering since we are to the point that we need both rams
and turtles, which should we focus on? We need turtles as an
ingredient to build rams. I just wanted to know which I should
focus on to continue to help in the most beneficial way
       possible.

That's actually a good question and it will always be an issue
every phase. The siege works always pose a bottle neck because
       every camp needs different items.
At the moment, use the turtles to build the intrigue camp up and
       then they will need scorpions.
we probably won't get too much higher simply because we have so
many new folks and reincarnators who have limited building
       ability.

I realize that I am totally new to the alliance vs. alliance
aspect of the game and to being part of an alliance at all in
this game, so please bare with me if I ask some stupid
       questions.
I would like to know if this is a good strategy to continue
       following?
I am taking note of everything that has been required so far to
upgrade camps and i keep those buildings producing even when we
are at levels when those items are not needed. In this manner, I
am hopefully stockpiling some decent numbers of items moving
       forward. I am currently working on all of the basic items;
however, in a couple of instances I have moved up to higher end
items such as Metal shields and such. I know this is not
possible with every building as in many stages so far we have
had to make different items from the same building i.e. siege
engines. However, I know we need silk cloaks, so I am making a
bunch of the basic cloaks in preparation of building the silk
ones. I am making a bunch of fingerless gloves and even made a
+20 peerless one lol. Anyway, that is what I am trying to do now
so that I may assist in a more organized manner the next time
       around.
I was also wondering if there were perhaps any chance of
dividing up some of the duties so as to spread the cost around
some. That way someone does not have to use all of their cloth
or all of their ore or wood. Also, have lower levels in the
alliance work on basic items and stockpile those and donate them
and the higher levels just keep making the higher level items
and stockpile those. Just corny ideas.

That's actually exactly what higher-end alliances do! Most
going for top overall or top regional prizes have a spreadsheet
and everyone updates it with what they have, then the AvA
leaders make their decisions on what camps too build based on
that. Plus others can read it to see what is in short supply
and then compensate by making more. It's a sophisticated
procedure and keeping it up is also a pain-in-the-ass task
delegated to the most OCD group members! lol.
But your instincts are dead on.
The True Wildlings are an alliance primarily of new people to
the game, so in a sense everyone is in learning mode.
Transitioning to "winning mode" is almost an entirely different
sort of game (and elevated level of pressure) and we are a long
ways off from that. Maybe setting a goal of one level 20 aid
camp might be a worthy goal in a future phase tho defending the
thing would be a chore with our present levels!
