***We are Wildlings!***

We are the true north, the free folk, and kneel to no one!
As such, we don't have a lot of rules or requirements for
entrance into our alliance. However we do ask that you play
responsibly and with good sportsmanship. Being a wildling is no
excuse for being a a jerk or an idiot. We basically cater to a
couple different groups:
1. alts, who need a place to park in order to safely comply with
DB's TOS
2. People relatively new to the game
As for the first group, it is up to you to abide by the TOS.
You're here because you want to still play your other character,
but want to do so in a conscientious manner. Don't do things
that will draw attention or cause you to get banned or
sanctioned. You understand the risks involved in doing overt
things that help your main character or their alliance. At the
same time, don't do things that hurt the True Wildlings, such as
attacking allies that might not be allies with your main
alliance. Relax and have a bit of fun!
As for the second group (who are by far, the majority) this is a
good alliance to get your feet wet and learn the ropes in a
fairly non-intense environment. While we always try our best,
winning a big prize has never been a top priority, and any
winning we might happen to do will not come at the expense of
having fun and enjoying the game. Your contributions are always
welcome as are your questions. Eventually you might decide that
you want to go for a big prize. When that day comes, you might
want to join another alliance who is more committed to winning
and it won't hurt my feelings a bit. In fact, many alliances
want references and I will be happy to give you one. Going for
top prizes and big wins is very exciting and a lot of fun! But
it can also be very stressful if you're brand new, so learning
the ropes here will hopefully help you be a better member there.
I just ask that you always remember your Wildling friends! I
have contacts with other alliances who are always looking for
knowledgeable players who already have their buildings leveled
up and their armies trained. I'll be happy to help you get
hooked in if you want. It's my hope that people who have True
Wildlings on their resume will always be welcome, no matter
where they go.
Enjoy the game and have fun! We are the free folk! - R.S.

I need to say one more thing about being a member of the free
folk.
Those who live North of the wall have to live by their wits,
skill and intelligence. A wildling who is stupid usually
doesn't last long in such a harsh environment. And for the free
folk, the #1 job is to survive and that is often a full-time job
between the climate, dire wolves, other tribes, the crows and
the white walkers. There are LOTS of enemies out there looking
for easy prey.
If I tell you not to attack someone it is likely because you are
not only going to get killed, but you are also going to get the
rest of us killed through some stupid or careless action. I
lost over 70K silver having to revive peerless and other swords
because some asshole decided to make war against an alliance of
burners who were neutral. Some of YOU lost at least that much
or maybe even more, and most of you have a lot less resources
than I do. Nobody has time for that sort of nonesense. I
ignore a lot of incoming attacks because we can't afford to make
enemies of every single alliance in westros and some enemies
aren't worth fighting.
If y'all want to go free-for-all I have no problems with that as
long as you understand you'll never win a thing, and you'll
likely suffer bigger losses. Eventually you'll see more and
more of those member banners with the big gray question mark.
Those are casualties that quit the game.
