       How do we respond to people who use the pejorative 'autist' and
       the words 'autism' and 'autistic' as slurs for people with
       severe mental disabilities?

       Autism is a term originating uniquely from Western psychiatry:

       Therefore you can simply respond that, as a decolonizer, you
       reject Western psychiatric terminology. If those using the term
       "autist" are "white", you can call them colonialists. If those
       using the term "autist" are "non-white", you can call them
       colonized.

       Related topic but the trait of Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria
       which makes any perceived negative feedback almost physically
       painful for the person involved, leading them to take extreme
       steps to avoid such.
       This seems to have pros and cons. An entire nation with RSD
       would likely be more cooperative.

       Then again, if your goal to prevent rejection, you can either be
       oppressive or non-oppressive depending on who rejects you. I am
       sensitive to rejection myself aside that I am diagnosed with
       ‘autism’, and that’s why, in the first place, I been an
       anti-Zionist myself and refrained from reproduction despite
       coming from an Israeli family. But no matter how little
       disrespect you can bear, that does not mean everyone will have
       the competent means to prevent it. You would still have to
       tolerate disrespect for not doing anything sincere to earn it
       (and for not having any clue of how to respect).
       Trump - a Westerner - is sensitive to rejection, but does not
       seem to know how to avoid such rejection outside his MAGA die
       hards. Same with Jews. You do not want to be like Trump (or
       Jews). Do you? In contrast, Hitler - a non-Westerner - is also
       sensitive to rejection, but managed to earn respect from
       multiethnic backgrounds (except ‘whites’). That is because he
       knew his audience. He understood society’s circumstances and
       used his heart to cultivate his sincere vision. Same with
       ‘nonwhites’ of the counter-culture. Of course you should want to
       be more like Hitler (or other ‘nonwhites’). Do you not?
       But at the end of the day, rejection and disrespect are mere
       consequences. Instead of decreasing rejection by itself,
       decrease rejection by not earning it. If you feel like you do
       not deserve disrespect from high-quality beings, do not
       disrespect others in the first place. And more importantly,
       encourage others to follow your example of fair treatment. Those
       who do not follow are to be tribes, who deserve no
       consideration.
