The Old Testament vs New Testament conflict is now open:
HTML https://us.yahoo.com/news/were-not-gonna-knocked-down-152049114.html
'We're not gonna be knocked down': Middletown church
under attack by Christian groups
...
A Middletown church that proudly flies Black Lives Matter and
Pride flags has come under fire from a nationally known
evangelical pastor and others on social media.
LifeHouse Church hosted Virgil Walker, executive director of G3
Ministries and co-host of the "Just Thinking" podcast, for a
men’s conference in late October. After his visit, he noticed
the nearby Church on Main and tweeted a picture of the church’s
exterior with the caption “if you're headed to visit a church
this morning, and you see this, keep driving. It's not a
church.” ::)
...
Since then, Church on Main has received messages from other
churches and individuals who are upset about them displaying the
Pride flag and BLM flag.
...
The Rev. Brooke Scott, the church's newly ordained pastor, fears
the type of divide that could come as a result of Walker’s
tweet.
“I think it just reinforces people’s suspicion of religion,”
said Scott. “It’s not a good look for people outside of our
communities to see communal conflict. I think it just makes us
look divided,” said Scott.
I disagree with Scott. This is what we have been setting up all
along:

Leftist.

Epic fail. This Judeo-Christian is so thoroughly Judaized that
he doesn't even realize that what rightists call "Christianity"
literally is Judeo-Christianity.

Authentic Christian sentiment still exists:
HTML https://www.yahoo.com/news/im-evangelical-pastor-biked-1-132800672.html
I'm an evangelical pastor, and I biked 1,600 miles along
the US-Mexico border. The only border crisis is America's
disgusting treatment of migrants.
...
There is a crisis at the border, but it is one that puts
immigrants - not US citizens - in danger.
...
The border is safe unless you are an immigrant. For immigrants
and asylum seekers, it is dangerous and even deadly. The only
option for entering along the southern border is to cross the
Rio Grande River, climb a wall, or trek through a desert. We
spoke with immigrants who told us about their experiences nearly
dying in the desert of thirst as they tried to make it to the
United States. We heard from others who nearly drowned with
their children attempting to cross the river. Immigrants have
drowned crossing the river in the very same place the 10
governors spewed their lies. We met a woman who fell from the
wall and broke her pelvis, and we were just feet away when a man
broke his legs from a fall off the wall in El Paso.
Why do these immigrants take such risks? Because they are left
with no better options.
...
Since 2018, the United States has shut off nearly all asylum
claims for people from Central America and more recent COVID-19
restrictions have frozen the asylum process for everyone else.
What's more, the roughly 200,000 farm worker visas that are
offered each year are nowhere near sufficient to meet the needs
of employers in the US or migrants seeking to work.
...
due to the "Remain in Mexico" policy - a Trump-era policy that
is continuing under President Biden that requires nearly all
asylum seekers to await their adjudication in Mexico - tens of
thousands of asylum-seekers are living in makeshift camps in
Mexico.
...
Much of this could be solved with changes to US policy. The US
must drastically increase the number of farm worker visas
available from 200,000 per year to at least 1 million per year.
The shortage of workers in the US demands it. The Biden
administration must also immediately put an end to the Trump-era
ban on asylum seekers. Once this is done, the asylum
adjudication process will need to be overhauled; the US should
engage thousands of former judges and magistrates to serve as
asylum judges and create a system capable of processing more
cases per week. The Biden administration's plan to raise the
refugee cap to 125,000 is better than the disastrous 15,000
under the Trump administration, but it does not go far enough.
We need to further increase the number of refugees allowed to
enter the country.
There is a crisis at the border. It's not a threat to Americans
or borderland communities, but it is a desperate gauntlet of
life or death for thousands looking to escape violence and build
a better life. Immigrants are not the ones to be feared - they
need our help.
But will it be listened to?
Lynching preachers: How black pastors resisted Jim Crow
and white pastors incited racial violence
White lynch mobs in America murdered at least 4,467 people
between 1883 and 1941, hanging, burning, dismembering, garroting
and blowtorching their victims.
Religion was no barrier for these white murderers, as I’ve
discovered in my research on Christianity and lynch mobs in the
Reconstruction-era South. White preachers incited racial
violence, joined the Ku Klux Klan and lynched black people.
Sometimes, the victim was a pastor.
...
I.T. Burgess, a preacher in Putnam County, Florida, was hanged
in 1894 after being accused of planning to instigate a revolt,
according to a May 30, 1894, story in the Atlanta Constitution
newspaper. Later that year, in December, the Constitution also
reported, Lucius Turner, a preacher near West Point, Georgia,
was shot by two brothers for apparently writing an insulting
note to their sister.
Ida B. Wells wrote in her 1895 editorial “A Red Record” about
Reverend King, a minister in Paris, Texas, who was beaten with a
Winchester Rifle and placed on a train out of town. His offense,
he said, was being the only person in Lamar County to speak
against the horrific 1893 lynching of the handyman Henry
Smith.
Jews also lynched Jesus.

I would love for any Westerner, or anyone for that matter, to
come and show me where exactly they found Jesus and Mohammed
walking around preaching the Hebrew Bible at people? Where is
it, can you people please show me!?
So, if Jesus and Mohammed did not walk around preaching the
Hebrew Bible at people, and you're supposedly a follower of
either Jesus or Mohammed, then why do you people walk around
preaching the Hebrew Bible at others whilst believing you are
either a Christian or a Muslim? It is all literally this simple
and obvious and most people still don't fucken get it!
Jesus wasn't walking around preaching the Hebrew Bible at people
because he was too busy flipping tables over in the temple of
the Jews! DUH!!!
