Pope Francis has recounted how he lost his patience when
he was asked to bless a pet dog, complaining to a conference on
Italy’s sharply falling birth rates that pets are replacing
children.
...
He told a story of a woman whom he met at a Vatican audience two
weeks ago who asked for a blessing for “her baby” which turned
out to be a small dog.
“I greeted the lady, she opened her bag and said ‘bless my
baby’. It was a little dog.
“I lost my patience and upbraided her, saying madam, so many
children are hungry and you bring me a little dog,” he told the
conference.
Too obvious not to be seen:
HTML https://www.yahoo.com/news/christian-leaders-abomination-bible-cause-152255598.html
Many on the religious right call members of the LGBTQ
community an "abomination," using Biblical scriptures to justify
their stance against queer and transgender rights and inclusion.
But some within the Christian community have flipped the script,
saying the real "abomination" is threatening people's lives with
anti-LGBTQ laws and policies.
"As a Christian leader, it's horrifying to me that Christianity
and the Bible are being used by the religious right to bludgeon
people through these many bills," Rev. Dr. Serene Jones, the
president of Union Theological Seminary in New York City, told
The Associated Press.
Except it is not Christianity being used by the right. It is
Judaism.
many church leaders from the Southern Baptist Convention
and the Catholic Church have been instrumental in the crusade
against LGBTQ acceptance and inclusion for decades. Pope
Francis, who has said the Church cannot recognize same-sex
marriage, has denounced anti-gay laws. That stance has drawn
criticism from conservative Catholics for his positions.
And in 2021, the Southern Baptist Convention campaigned against
the Equality Act – a bill that included protections against
discrimination based on gender identity and sexual orientation –
saying it went against "God's good design of males and females
and heterosexuality as clearly expressed in Scripture."
That was the Old Testament.
"The larger message there is a message of love and
inclusion," Jones said.
You are talking about the New Testament.

I doubt this Pastor "hates" the LGBTQ community, but rather
feels that they threaten the SURVIVAL of humanity itself. He is
most likely a tribalist, and supports Judaism rather than
Christianity.
Bigoted Pastor Threatens VILE Hate Crimes To Followers On Stage
An extremist preacher makes horrific calls for violence
against the LGBTQ community and parents of trans kids after
recently playing the victim for his hate being exposed on
Twitter. John Iadarola and Maz Jobrani break it down on The
Damage Report.

Hate pastor says trans-supportive parents should be “shot in
back of the head” -
HTML https://www.lgbtqnation.com/2023/05/h...
"A hate preacher told his church’s congregation that parents who
allow their children to have “a transgender surgery” should be
shot in the back of the head and hung from a bridge as an
example to the public. However, gender-affirming genital
surgeries aren’t conducted on children.
These comments came from Jason Graber — a New Independent
Fundamental Baptist (New IFB) preacher at Sure Foundation
Baptist Church in Spokane, Washington.
“Any parent that would have their child, would have a
transgender surgery done on them, any parent that would do that,
they just need to be shot in the back of the head,” Graber said.
“They need to be convicted in trial and immediately shot in the
back of the head. Okay, and then we can string them up above a
bridge so that the public can see the consequences of that kind
of wickedness.”"
Compared to Catharism:
Cathars believed human spirits were the sexless spirits of
angels trapped in the material realm of the evil god, destined
to be reincarnated until they achieved salvation through the
consolamentum, a form of baptism performed when death is
imminent, when they would return to the good God...
HTML https://trueleft.createaforum.com/ancient-world/catharism-the-'good-christians'/
Jesus didn't have much to say about sex...
What about the Prophet Muhammad:
...The Islamic sexual morality is also fundamentally
different from the new sexual morality in a sense that it does
not accept the concept of free sex. Islam aims at teaching its
followers not to suppress their sexual urges, rather to fulfil
them but in a responsible way.
Islam recognizes the sexual needs of human beings and believes
that the natural instincts should be nurtured, not suppressed.
Islam says that the biological parts of our body have a purpose;
they have not been created uselessly. No text in Islam can be
found to equate sex with inherent evil or sin; whatever has been
taught by the Qur'an, Prophet Muhammad and his Ahlu'l-bayt
points in the opposite direction.
What the Qur'an and the authentic sunnah and I emphasize on
authentic have said about sex and marriage will now be discussed
under the following headings: Islam has very highly recommended
marriage as a good deed and not as a lesser of two evils; Islam
has very strongly opposed celibacy and monasticism, and Islam
believes that marriage is not a hindrance in spiritual
wayfaring, on the contrary it helps the wayfarer.
HTML https://catholicreview.org/ending-racism-demands-hard-spiritual-work-eucharistic-commitment-says-archbishop-perez-in-pastoral-letter/
Ending racism demands ‘hard spiritual work,’ Eucharistic
commitment, says Archbishop Pérez in pastoral letter
Philadelphia Archbishop Nelson J. Pérez has issued a pastoral
letter on racial healing, addressing “the grave sin of racism”
and urging faithful to “embark on a journey of conversion” as
believers in Jesus Christ and his real presence in the
Eucharist.
“We cannot deny that racism persists within the body of Christ …
(inflicting) immense pain, division, and injustice in our
Church, our communities and our world,” said the archbishop
“Philadelphia has a long history of hometown saints who
dedicated their lives to fighting racism and discrimination like
St. John Neumann, St. Katharine Drexel and St. Frances Cabrini,”
wrote Archbishop Pérez.
Yet “despite their monumental efforts and the work of so many
others, this evil continues to poison our souls, our church, our
relationships with one another and with God,” he said. “Racism
shreds the fabric of our communities, hinders our unity and
impedes the building of God’s kingdom on earth.”
In February, three students left the archdiocese’s St. Hubert
Catholic High School for Girls, located in Philadelphia, after
being investigated for creating a social media video featuring
blackface and racial slurs.
The incident drew both national attention and a swift response
from Archbishop Pérez and his Commission on Racial Healing,
established in 2021.
In May, Archbishop Pérez and the 18-member commission —
comprised mostly of lay archdiocesan parishioners — unveiled a
short film in both English and Spanish stressing the destructive
nature of racism and the shared responsibility to counter it.
Citing the Catechism of the Catholic Church (No. 1869),
Archbishop Pérez noted that “racism is not limited to individual
sin,” but “(makes) men accomplices of one another,” thereby
creating “structures of sin that in turn give rise to social
situations and institutions contrary to the divine goodness.”
As Catholics, we are compelled to recognize that racism is a
stain upon the body of Christ – and if one part of the body
suffers, ‘all the parts suffer with it,’ (as) St. Paul tells
us,” said Archbishop Pérez, citing 1 Cor 12:26. “That means that
whatever wounds one, even if unintentional, is everyone’s
responsibility to heal.”
Combatting racism “will take hard spiritual work,” including
“prayerful reflection, unflinching examination of conscience and
a commitment to unlearning conscious and unconscious biases that
may have taken root in each of us,” Archbishop Pérez said.
“We cannot call ourselves a eucharistic people and harbor
racism,” he said, adding that Archbishop Pérez’s letter “fits
perfectly” with Corpus Christi.
