While watching the games, I also noticed that uniforms worn by
Western female athletes are often very distinct from the
uniforms worn by male athletes of the same discipline, whereas
uniforms worn by non-Western female athletes are similar to the
uniforms worn by male athletes of the same discipline. For

Leon Marchand, the 4-gold French swimmer in the ongoing Olympics

swimming coach as he tried to offer his handshake to
congratulate Leon after he's won the 200-M event. Eileen Gu, the

unfollowed him 2 days after the incident.
Pan Jian-le, the Chinese swimmer who broke the world record
winning the 100-M beating both contestants from the US and
Australia in the event commented that he was also being ignored
when he tried to greet the two of them as he entered the arena
for the race.
