It's looking like I feared correctly:
HTML https://www.yahoo.com/news/china-says-wants-more-cooperation-091651422.html
--- Quote ---
> China Says It Wants More Cooperation With Russia’s Military
>
> (Bloomberg) -- China said it wants closer ties with Russia’s
military, a sign Moscow still has Beijing’s support after the
aborted Wagner mutiny.
>
> Chinese Defense Minister Li Shangfu said in a meeting Monday
with Nikolai Yevmenov, commander-in-chief of Russia’s navy, that
“with the joint efforts of both sides, the relations between the
two militaries will continue to deepen and solidify, constantly
make new progress and reach a new level.”
>
> Li said he hoped the two navies could strengthen
communication, regularly hold joint exercises and “expand
practical cooperation,” according to a statement from Defense
Ministry in Beijing.
>
> The comments add to signs Beijing is shoring up ties with
Moscow in the wake of the Wagner mercenary group’s uprising last
month, the biggest ever threat to Vladimir Putin’s rule.

As I have said before, so long as Eurocentrist Xi is in charge,
we can continue to expect the wrong decision every time.

century and permanently occupied those large areas of Chinese
land. A peace treaty was signed around 1860. The Chinese
remember that well, can exact their revenge now that Putin's

Xi personally courted Putin, so it would be embarrassing to have

indicate that Xi perhaps made a poor decision.

Westernized countries put their own interests above the needs of
"friends", because westernized countries primary unspoken
directive is merely economic, thus technological, growth above
all else?

PLA Honor Guard set for Red Square parade

80th anniversary celebrations of the victory of the Soviet
Union's Great Patriotic War on Friday in Moscow, Russia, in a

Ministry said the PLA Honor Guard was invited by the defense
ministries of Russia and Belarus to participate in commemorative
parades marking the 80th anniversary of the victory of the
Soviet Union's Great Patriotic War in Moscow and Minsk.

I felt that the flag is a symbol of faith, direction and the
dreams and hopes of countless Chinese people," Cui Hangteng, a
member of the Honor Guard squad, was quoted by China Media Group

can be seen chanting slogans, such as "Remember history,
commemorate the martyrs" and "Justice will prevail. Peace will
prevail. The people will prevail", as they march down the
streets. Crowds of onlookers can be seen responding
enthusiastically, shouting, "Long live China!"

Empty slogans of liberation and unity are certainly a
Marxist\Lenist\-Communist phenomenon that even the MAGA
Communists are capable of. Do true friends put a time limit on
friendship? The concept of: "I will be your friend for the next
5 years, after that you might be my enemy, I guess we will cross
that bridge when we get to it?", works in forming friendships
and alliances in ordinary civilian life? No wonder Hitler never
trusted the U.S.S.R.!!!
