In reality, India is geographically nearer than Malaysia to the
historically accurate Asia:

so while I tecnically agree that Indians are not "Asian",
Malaysians are surely even less "Asian" than Indians!
Not that anyone should even want to be called "Asian", as some
woke commenters point out following the line of argument we
first developed:
