Ayah 38: ‘As for male and female thieves, cut off their
hands for what they have done—a deterrent from God. And God is
Almighty, All-Wise.’

Ayah 40: ‘40. Do you not know that the kingdom of the
heavens and the earth belongs to God alone? He punishes whoever
He wills and forgives whoever He wills. And God is Most Capable
of everything.'
These should already have been removed. I already asked you to
do this here:
HTML https://trueleft.createaforum.com/volunteer/drafting-up-a-jamia/msg15285/#msg15285
and you assured me it was done:
HTML https://trueleft.createaforum.com/volunteer/drafting-up-a-jamia/msg15291/#msg15291
So why am I still finding verses like these?
Also:
116. And on Judgment Day God will say, “O Jesus, son of
Mary! Did you ever ask the people to worship you and your mother
as gods besides God?” He will answer, “Glory be to You! How
could I ever say what I had no right to say? If I had said such
a thing, you would have certainly known it. You know what is
hidden within me, but I do not know what is within You. Indeed,
You alone are the Knower of all unseen. 117. I never told them
anything except what You ordered me to say: “Worship God—my Lord
and your Lord!” And I was witness over them as long as I
remained among them. But when You took me, You were the Witness
over them—and You are a Witness over all things. 118. If You
punish them, they belong to You after all. But if You forgive
them, You are surely the Almighty, All-Wise.”’
Why this one?

Done. There was a synchronization error. I would also like to
point out that Google Docs allows anyone with a link with Editor
permissions to edit documents themselves, so feel free to make
any changes to the document yourself. There were some verses
that I couldn't remove from some of the passages to preserve
full context.
Why this one?
Wanted to have the entire passage for context. Removed.

"Done."
Are you sure?
Ayat 12-14: ‘12. Ask them, O Prophet, “To whom belongs
everything in the heavens and the earth?” Say, “To God!” He has
taken upon Himself to be Merciful. He will certainly gather all
of you together for the Day of Judgment—about which there is no
doubt. But those who have ruined themselves will never believe.
13. To Him belongs whatever exists in the day and night. And He
is the All-Hearing, All- Knowing.
If it was really done, I would not have found this verse. Try
again.
"feel free to make any changes to the document yourself."
The point of me checking your work in public is to expose the
poor work ethic that has hampered our movement year after year.
Now everyone can understand how it literally takes me more time
to help volunteers do the work assigned to them than it would
have taken me to do the same work myself, which is the opposite
of what division of labour should be about.

"Removed."
And then immediately I found:
Ayat 59: ‘With Him are the keys of the unseen—no one
knows them except Him. And He knows what is in the land and sea.
Not even a leaf falls without His knowledge, nor a grain in the
darkness of the earth or anything—green or dry—but is written in
a perfect Record.’
The point is not for me to point out one by one which verses
need to be removed, but for me to point out a certain line of
reasoning for removal and then for you to remove all the verses
in the document which fall under that same line of reasoning.
Please make sure I don't find any more after this one before
replying again.

@90sRetroFan Would you consider a verse like this:
To
Allah alone bow down in submission all those in the heavens and
the earth—willingly or unwillingly—as do their shadows, morning
and evening.
To be Judaic?

OK, I went through the entire document and removed the requested
verses, but there were some I couldn't remove (e.g. Qur'an 41:9)
because they were either in the same verse as a Judaic passage
or their removal would've also removed the context of the
passage, so instead of deleting those verses altogether, I have
disemboldened them. Please let me know if there are any I
missed.

Not necessarily Judaic, but not necessarily Mohammedan either.
We can get back to this after we have removed all the Judaic
verses first.
"Please let me know if there are any I missed."
Ayah 11: ‘Remember when He caused drowsiness to overcome
you, giving you serenity. And He sent down rain from the sky to
purify you, free you from Satan’s whispers, strengthen your
hearts, and make your steps firm.’

Ayah 48: ‘And remember when Satan made their evil deeds
appealing to them, and said, “No one can overcome you today. I
am surely by your side.” But when the two forces faced off, he
cowered and said, “I have absolutely nothing to do with you. I
certainly see what you do not see. I truly fear Allah, for Allah
is severe in punishment.”’
I am sure there are more. Please try to find them yourself.

I'll keep looking. I'll also post suggestions for passages
slated for deletion.
