This is actually similar to something my older sister repeated
to me from a psychology class that she took a long time ago.
Basically, a study found that women were more likely to prefer
flat games over games with 3D environments than men were, and
the speculation is that certain attributes of games with 3D
environments activate certain natural tendencies of men. My
sister is quite a bit older than me, so she finished it off with
an anecdote that when games started becoming 3D, her reaction
was basically "What the **** is this?" and she lost interest
even though she had previously played 2D side-scrolling games
(like Donkey Kong Country on the SNES, for example) with her
grandma all the time. My younger sister was the same way,
actually. She would play New Super Mario Bros and Super Smash
Bros with me all the time, but games with 3D environments
usually didn't catch her interest at all.
I'm obviously not sure about the veracity of any of this, and
there's a possibility that any research done on the topic is
outdated since my sister is recalling a memory from 15 years ago
or more, but I think it's interesting to think about.

One thing the incels got correct is that higher sexual
dimorphism women are more tolerant towards sexism perpetrated by
higher sexual dimorphism men. Thus sexism would be more
tolerated on the whole in a society initially higher in average

I do not find it surprising. If the underlying preference is for
high sexual dimorphism (as indeed it is among Westerners), then
it is to be expected that masculine men and feminine women both
have advantages.
Another way to look at it is that in order to have high sexual
dimorphism, you must be low in neoteny. Adults (male or female)
are perceived by Westerners as dominant over children (male or
female). Duh!
