As I keep saying, if there are several Ahimsa activists vs one
target, instead of all Ahimsa activists immediately trying to
get strikes in, at least one Ahimsa activist should first
immobilize the target's legs. Ziering only got away because no
one did so.

Breaking up a fight is initiated violence. Either both sides
agreed to fight in which case breaking up the fight initiates
violence against both sides, or else the aggressor attacked the
victim in which case breaking up the fight in effect protects
the aggressor from retaliation. Either way, whoever breaks up a
fight deserves retaliation.
The only ethical way to intervene in a fight is to actively
assist in the victim's retaliation against the aggressor.
