The fan art has started coming in:

Could we be witnessing the birth of an icon of decolonization in
real time?

More and more fan art:

Also, in this interview:

Meng mentions (2:18-2:19) "aogu" as a trait she was trying to
express via the dance. Not coincidentally, there is also a
Counterculture era song of the same title:

Our enemies report:
HTML https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2022/03/11/marvel-accused-of-bowing-to-woke-mob-after-ridiculous-apology-over-new-indigenous-character/
After backlash over a female Indigenous Conan the
Barbarian comic character that debuted last month, famed Marvel
writer Jason Aaron (Avengers, Thor, Star Wars) issued an apology
and vowed to alter the character’s name and depiction.
Marvel on Tuesday confirmed that a female character who appeared
in the latest issue of the King Conan mini-series last month
would undergo changes in all the comic’s future printings.
The move comes after the popular comic book publisher faced
criticism for the new character who is alleged to resemble the
historical Native American icon Pocahontas and carry her reputed
name “Matoaka,” which some saw as offensive toward the
Indigenous community.
“[D]isgusted isn’t even close to a word for it. how?? how is
this okay??” wrote Kelly Lynne D’Angelo, a Native writer. “She
was a REAL LITTLE GIRL – to do this her, to us, over and over
again… i am just at a loss. disgusting.”
“[D]oes she not deserve rest? reclamation? Honor?” she added.
“[Y]ou colonizers make me vom[it].”
Calling the femme fatale “remarkably offensive,” one Twitter
user urged Marvel to: “Please listen to indigenous voices.”
“Cancel this book. This should never have been approved,” the
user added.
“Hey @Marvel and @jasonaaron, did it ever occur to you that
using the name of an actual victim of colonial violence (the
kind that is still being perpetuated today against Indigenous
Americans) for your male power fantasy comic was insensitive,
distasteful, and deeply offensive?” asked another.
“THIS is why we need Native voices writing Native characters.
We’re not show pieces to make your world even more noir,”
another user wrote. “We’re not here for you to make money off
our murders and suicides, even fictional ones.”
...
But not everyone accepted his apology.
“It’s still a hypersexualized, demeaning, misogynistic
stereotype of an indigenous woman,” wrote one Twitter user.
“This doesn’t let Aaron or Marvel off the hook.”
“Changing the name is not enough,” wrote another. “The comic
needs to be pulled for violence and Jason Aaron needs to
seriously stop writing about Native Americans. This isnt his
first offense. It’s habitual. I will never read Jason Aaron. How
he has a job for sub par writing and racism beyond me?”
Aaron has not cut off his fingers, therefore he has not
apologized.

I liked Abrams best when she was calling for blowing up Stone
Mountain:

I would like her even more if she called for blowing up NASA
facilities also. Instead, she is doing a Star Trek cameo.
Abrams, unfortunately, is just another progressive after
all.....

I absolutely loathe Star Trek. Every non-Westerner I know makes
fun of it for overly complicating things while simultaneously
being boring as hell.
On the other hand, Westerners such as Peter Thiel, Elon Musk,
and Steve Jobs all view Star Trek as inspirations.

The worst are the Eurocentrist False Leftists who turn around
and in effect accuse those who dislike the ugly looks of
Liu/Awkwafina of being Eurocentrist(!). Their reasoning is that
"Asians" should force themselves to find beautiful the Western
caricature of Chinese looks, or else they are guilty of
upholding "Western beauty standards" by demanding that Chinese
leading actors look better. Those who fall for this are now
absurdly pretending not to notice that Liu/Awkwafina have
subhuman faces, thinking that such pretence is displaying "Asian
pride", when in reality they are just being useful idiots.
The truly proud are those confident enough to openly call out
the Western caricature itself as Eurocentric. Yet they are the
ones being labelled as Eurocentrists simply because they prefer
more [s]Aryan[/s] highly evolved faces on lead roles (regardless
of ethnicity). The true Eurocentrists, of course, are those who
think "non-white" lead roles are not entitled to be represented
with [s]Aryan[/s] highly evolved faces.
Liu himself seems to share this worldview. Here he is purporting
to "refute" Eurocentric stereotypes about "Asian" sexual
dimorphism..by slavishly "proving" that "Asians" are just as
masculine as "Whites":

Why "Black" people love anime:
HTML https://youtu.be/VvC4LitR6ME
For the record, it goes without saying that not all anime
franchises are non-Western. For example, the video mentions
Dragon Ball Z. When I watched it for the first time, I instantly
disliked it due to the mesomorphy of the main protagonist,
Goku:
[img width=643
height=1280]
HTML https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/dragonball/images/e/e4/Goku_arrives_colored.PNG[/img]
The video actually touches on the Westernized side of anime,
particularly the Eurocentric caricatures of "blacks" present in
certain franchises. This could be attributed to the
Westernization of Japan, especially after WW2.

Compare normal Goku with super Goku:

It's not just him either:

This tells you all you need to know about how bad the
Eurocentrism is.

As if the space travel themes and mesomorphy weren't bad enough.
