The psychological impact of colonization still lingers in the
former British colony - the judge handling this case must have
been so grateful for the US senator's turning himself in for
carrying a gun into Hong Kong that he was only fined HK$2000
(US$250) when precedent cases would land the perpetrator in
jail. And the look on the face of the senator's wife says it all
too - the proud look of having a 'white' superman hubby!

As I keep saying, I not only never exaggerate the level of
Eurocentrism among "non-whites", if anything I only ever

Again, this actually reassures me that Eurocentrism is at least
partly cultural. If it were solely an evolutionary adaptation to
wanting one's own descendants to have genes deemed a better bet
under Darwinian standards, it should not apply to male-male sex
since reproduction is precluded from the outset.
