       > Studies indicate that women are more likely to be affected
than men,[2] and that the risk decreases with advancing age.
There is some evidence that people with Asian ancestry may
develop motion sickness more frequently than people of European
       ancestry

In short, motion sickness is correlated with neoteny. Also,
       motion sickness is healthy:

       > It has also been proposed that motion sickness could function
as a defense mechanism against neurotoxins.[37] The area
postrema in the brain is responsible for inducing vomiting when
poisons are detected, and for resolving conflicts between vision
and balance. When feeling motion but not seeing it (for example,
in the cabin of a ship with no portholes), the inner ear
transmits to the brain that it senses motion, but the eyes tell
the brain that everything is still. As a result of the
incongruity, the brain concludes that the individual is
hallucinating and further concludes that the hallucination is
due to poison ingestion. The brain responds by inducing
vomiting, to clear the supposed toxin.

I would theorize that, in prehistoric times, the practical
inconvenience caused by motion sickness would be more
evolutionarily disadvantageous to nomadic people (hunters or
herders) as they travel more in total, thus would be most likely
to evolve in a settled farming gene pool, where not only is
travel is less frequent but also the lifestyle is such that you
can work more at your own pace (thus temporarily pause work as
required to wait out nausea without affecting the outcome) as
compared to hunters/herders having to react to the pace of the
prey*/herd (where pausing to wait out nausea could result in
significant economic loss!). At the same time, farming also
involves preserving surplus food for potentially months or even
years before eventual consumption. High sensitivity in detecting
when a preserved item has decayed (and thus become toxic) would
be evolutionarily advantageous outright. In contrast, hunters
and herders are mostly dealing with food that has not had time
to decay, thus benefit far less from ability to detect food
       decay.
(* This also accounts for why motion sickness is more common
among women, as even Gentile women would have done more
gathering rather than hunting, in which pausing to wait out
nausea is also less detrimental. If anything, we would expect
Turanian women to be statistically the least prone to motion
       sickness.)
For the record, I myself always vomit on planes etc.. I also
excel at detecting food decay as well as unhealthy additives
       etc..
