The killing of St. Maximilian Kolbe

Hello there, as you can tell by username I am HookedCross. I've
been a visitor of Aryanism and it's what got me into NS/Fascism.
Despite that I don't consider myself neither but apolitical with
sympathies. I am a Catholic and ever since I've gone down this
rabbit hole I've always wondered about many of these so-called
German atrocities, especially regarding St. Maximilian Kolbe.
I'm certain most of you know his story, A Polish Catholic priest
who was captured and put in Auschwitz where he then sacrificed
himself to take the place of an inmate who was chosen to die. I
admire him for selflessness.
But I wonder now, how much of it is true? I have reason to
believe that he actually died in a soviet gulag because Poland
was also invaded by the Soviet Union as well and auschwitz was
just a labor camp. So do you guys think that this was a soviet
crime projected on the Germans? I do.
Tl;dr did St. Maximilian Kolbe actually die in a gulag and the
soviets blamed the Germans.

His story is largely false; he was actually killed via lethal
injection. Holocaust promoters like to use his story to bolster
the Official Holocaust Narrative.
