Even dead links should be kept, so that readers can at least see
the title of the page that was meant to be linked to.

Once I finish formatting and you finish editing/updating the
book you can go back and re-add the links to the pages on the
Wayback Machine.

Sorry, I was referring to the ones I already removed. Luckily,
most of the links should be saved on the Wayback Machine. In
fact, now that you mention it, I'll be making two copies of the
book: one with the links, and one without!

OK, the first draft is done and ready for you to edit/update. I
want you to update me on your progress as you edit the document
so I can go through and finalize everything before I convert it
into an e-book. If you have any questions let me know.
