I agree with what you said, but I was trying to get across the
point that this poster was trying to get non-Eurocentric "Asian"
men to forgive the Eurocentrism of "Asian" women. Some of the
commenters who push back against him are good:

It should be added that limiting oneself to "Asian" women is
itself Eurocentrist, as the category "Asian" is a Western
invention.

That’s a fair criticism of the original poster, and I agree. If
anything, “improving” yourself (getting an education, working
out, improving your social skills and charisma, or whatever they
consider improvement) won’t win over an already Eurocentric
woman. It will just raise their standards. Now they’re probably
secretly fantasizing about a muscular and educated white man,
instead of white men in general. Hell, I wouldn’t even be
surprised if the Eurocentrism runs so deep for some, that they
would find a less “self-improved” white man more attractive than
the hypothetical “self-improved” “Asian” man

Unfortunately, the comic advocates AMWF.
Also "self-improvement" itself is a western concept. (e.g.
weight training to build muscle mass), since it associates
gaining muscle mass with "improvement". A better definition of
"improvement" would be low body fat (achievable through cardio
exercises such as running/swimming), which would produce a
physique similar to Arno Breker statues.

Please do not use the based term "simp" without "".
"Simp", which carries a negative connotation, makes it sound
like devotion is a bad trait in itself, which is not the case.
We should not be encouraging less devotion (ie. more cynicism)
across the board (which is what calling people "simps" does); we
should be encouraging more devotion but only for those who
deserve it.

You make a good point. Westerners, for example, will call
non-Western males "simps" and "betas" for worshipping
non-Western female celebrities. And of course, the False Left
Westerners will conflate this attitude with benevolent
sexism/"nice guy" incelism and call the attitude "sexist". But
this doesn't make sense, because, unlike the incels, the "simps"
don't go on shooting rampages after rejections. Ergo, "simps"
are genuinely devoted to the person they are worshipping, and
will respect the person's decision (however much heartbreak it
causes them as a devotee). Incels/"nice guys"/benevolent sexists
on the other hand, are only "devoted" to the woman insofar as
she is able to provide sex.
Is this a fair analysis?

sexism. Have you ever noticed how it’s really only men who look
up to a woman in any sort of capacity, whether it be
romantically or otherwise, being called “simps”? Women who
romantically chase after a man are practically never called
“simps”, nor are they called “simps” when they look up to a man
for other non-romantic reasons such as character or talent. At
the very least, there is no female equivalent to the word
“simp”. The implication is that no woman is worth looking up to,
and that they are all ultimately of low value and entirely
replaceable. And that if you look up to or chase after a woman,
you just haven’t seen how they “really are” yet. The MGTOW
crowd, as well as non-MGTOW but nevertheless
“redpill”-affiliated crowds even have a popular acronym called
AWALT. It stands for “All Women Are Like That”. So this isn’t me
being uncharitable or constructing a strawman. Many of them
really are just that stereotypically sexist

Actually, I have seen False Leftists call MAGAs (both male and
female) "simps" for Trump. But I agree that among rightists it
is only used as you describe. In other words, as usual False
Leftists appropriate rightist terminology poorly instead of
rejecting it.

Growing up in (((school))) in the 2010s, the concept of
"celebrity crush" was never really prevalent. People would lust
after some celebrity but immediately lust after the next. It was
only during my later years when I did schooling in a non-Western
country did I see this concept among schoolchildren, where
people would say things like "I want to marry x actor".
