Yes. I have heard some of these ethnopreservations even say that
they "understand" why "Whites" would want to preserve their
bloodline, and that it would be okay for them to do so so long
as "Blacks" would be able to do the same.

When "non-whites" say they want "mixed" offspring, >99% of the
time they mean they want partially "white" offspring. The
possibility of multiethnic offspring of different "non-white"
ethnicities does not occur in their minds at all. When I suggest
it to them in response to them saying they want "mixed"
offspring, they often do not know how to continue the
conversation.
