It looks like Boston Dynamics has gone from a clunky dog thing
to humanoid robots which are capable of parkour backflips in a
span of a decade. (Click the link to watch a video)

half the time while performing the parkour routine filmed to

       > In the video, two Atlas robots navigate jumps and steps of
varying heights, vaulting over and running along a balance beam
before ending the routine with two backflips a piece.
       >
       > It's more than most humans can do, but the team at Boston
Dynamics explain that the robots aren't intelligently navigating
an unfamiliar course. They've been programmed and trained to
       complete it.
       > [...]
       > While the routines are rehearsed and pre-programmed, Atlas has
become more capable at assessing its own environment and its

       Angeles in 1 second
       >
       > What if we could travel at the speed of light? We’re still a
long way off, but tech used in spacecraft could one day let us
travel from New York to Los Angeles in just one second.
       >
       > Light is the fastest thing that exists. It travels at 186,000
miles per second. As such, it can travel from the Earth to the
Moon in just over a second. Creating vehicles that reach the
speed of light isn’t going to happen anytime soon. There are
just too many variables to nail down. However, the tech that we
use in spacecraft could let us harness a small percentage of
that speed. That could be enough to change how we travel
       altogether.
       --- End Quote ---
Of course it would waste even more energy than the (already
ridiculously vast) quantities that modern living currently
       wastes as it is:
       --- Quote ---
       > Making something go twice as fast requires four times the
energy. Increasing the speed of something times three requires
nine times the energy, and so on down the line. According to The
Conversation, it would take roughly 200 trillion Joules to make
a teenager who weighs 110 pounds travel at one percent the speed
of light. That’s roughly the same amount of energy that 2
million people living in the United States use every day.
       --- End Quote ---
But Westerners will probably want to do it anyway, because they
       are Westerners.....

       >
       > Bobrick and Martire realized that by modifying spacetime
within the bubble in a certain way, they could remove the need
to use negative energy. This solution, though, does not produce
a warp drive that can go faster than light.
       >
       > Independently, Lentz also proposed a solution that does not
require negative energy. He used a different geometric approach
to solve the equations of General Relativity, and by doing so,
he found that a warp drive wouldn’t need to use negative energy.
Lentz’s solution would allow the bubble to travel faster than
       the speed of light.
       >

       > Researchers who developed what they say are the world’s first
living robots now report they can reproduce in an unprecedented
way, according to a peer-reviewed study published in the
Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences on Monday.
       >
       > The robots in question aren’t little constructions of silicon
and metal—instead, they’re biological machines called xenobots
that University of Vermont and Tufts University researchers
first described last year. The xenobots are genetically
unmodified, cultivated stem cell bundles of the African clawed
frog, Xenopus laevis. Joshua Bongard, a University of Vermont
computer scientist and robotics expert, referred to them in a
press release last January as “novel living machines” that are a
“new class of artifact: a living, programmable organism.”
       > ...
       > The xenobots are capable of living for days to weeks in an
aquatic environment using the energy stored in their cells.
While their lifetimes can be extended with a nutrient-rich
       environment, afterwards they inevitably biodegrade.
       > ...
       > In the new paper, researchers from the two universities as
well as Harvard University’s Wyss Institute for Biologically
Inspired Engineering reported that the xenobots are autonomously
making more of themselves using a method previously unknown to
be used by any animal or plant species. Levin told CNN that the
method, called kinematic replication, left him “astounded.”
       >
       --- End Quote ---
I am not astounded. I would be more astounded if it didn't
happen. You expect the xenobots to be Gnostics?
       --- Quote ---
       > The team observed the xenobots, which are made from around
3,000 stem cells each, moving around a petri dish to collect
stray stem cells and form them into clumps. Eventually, when
enough stem cells were collected, those clumps became new
       xenobots.
       > ...
       > “In our first experiment from January 2020, we included frog
heart muscle tissue into the xenobots and showed that could
shuffle, slowly, across the bottom of a Petri dish,” Bongard
told Gizmodo. “In a second paper from March 2021, we showed that
xenobots can grow small hairs called cilia on their outer
surface. They beat these cilia to swim, which results in faster
movement than walking through water. We also showed that we
could get the bots to ‘See’, ‘remember’, ‘come back’, and
‘tell’: the xenobots were induced to glow green.”
       > ...
       > According to the study, researchers verified that the
xenobots, not “fluid dynamics and self-assembly,” were
responsible for the replication after observing that the stem
cells weren’t spontaneously combining in the xenobots’ absence.
       --- End Quote ---
Non-Westerners are horrified by all this. Westerners, on the
other hand, display the following reaction:
       --- Quote ---
       > There’s really no telling what future xenobots might be used
for, Bongard said. “It’s impossible to know what applications a
very early-stage technology like xenobots will have,” Bongard
wrote. “All we can do is consider the advantages this technology
has over traditional robots, which is that they are small,
       biodegradable, and happy in water.”
       > ...
       > Levin told Gizmodo that possible applications for xenobots may
arise in several areas. One is “useful, specific synthetic
living machines (to do work in the body, in vitro for sculpting
of tissues for transplants, in production facilities/plants, in
the environment, in exploration, etc.),” he wrote, while another
is “using the xenobots as a sandbox in which to learn how to
convince groups of cells to build what we want them to
build—once we can do that reliably, we will be able to have
really transformative regenerative medicine for birth defects,
cancer, traumatic injury, aging, etc. All those situations can
be addressed once we understand how to stimulate cells to use
their collective problem-solving ability to make the organs and
tissues we want them to make.”
       --- End Quote ---
Have you ever considered the possibility that Westerners are
being used by Yahweh in the same way that Levin is describing
how xenobots could be used by humans? Has not Levin been
convinced to build what Yahweh wants him to build?

       > To persist, life must reproduce. Over billions of years,
organisms have evolved many ways of replicating, from budding
plants to sexual animals to invading viruses.
       >
       > Now scientists at the University of Vermont, Tufts University,
and the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering at
Harvard University have discovered an entirely new form of
biological reproduction—and applied their discovery to create
       the first-ever, self-replicating living robots.
       >
       > The same team that built the first living robots (“Xenobots,”
assembled from frog cells—reported in 2020) has discovered that
these computer-designed and hand-assembled organisms can swim
out into their tiny dish, find single cells, gather hundreds of
them together, and assemble “baby” Xenobots inside their
Pac-Man-shaped “mouth”—that, a few days later, become new
Xenobots that look and move just like themselves.
       >
       > And then these new Xenobots can go out, find cells, and build
copies of themselves. Again and again.
       >
       > “With the right design—they will spontaneously
       self-replicate,” says Joshua Bongard, Ph.D., a computer
scientist and robotics expert at the University of Vermont who
       co-led the new research.
       > [...]
       > People have thought for quite a long time that we’ve worked
out all the ways that life can reproduce or replicate. But this
is something that’s never been observed before,” says co-author
Douglas Blackiston, Ph.D., the senior scientist at Tufts
University and the Wyss Institute who assembled the Xenobot
“parents” and developed the biological portion of the new study.

I think the article is overselling things a bit. It seems that
the scientists have basically used computer algorithms to
arrange already-living cells into patterns, conceptually
recreating the self-replicating patterns in this:
