In some aspects, India is more Westernized than the United
States, particularly wrt compulsory schooling. Even Saturdays
are school days, the uniform is a collared dress shirt with a
necktie, etc (that too in scorching summer heat!). In contrast,
I was allowed to wear T Shirts in U.S. schools, and there was no
school on Saturdays.
A completely sick society. What is the cure?
