       People keep saying that it’s because Ron DeSantis and other
       Republicans receive a shitload of money from cattle ranchers.
       While I’m sure that’s technically true, I’m also 100% sure that
       people like Ron DeSantis don’t even need to be bribed to do
       something like this in the first place. We’d have still reached
       this point even if they received exactly $0, because lab grown
       meat is the next big thing in the left-right culture war. While
       lab grown meat is by no means regressive, it was the best shot
       we had at making the world “vegan” (in the sense of drastically
       reducing non-human suffering) in a currently non-Aryan society

       Actually, True Leftists (who are more evolved than rightists and
       hence are not "primitive") would be horrified at machines as
       well, because we realize that machines provide the opportunity
       to make violence against non humans even more sustainable. But I
       do agree that those who are more horrified at this than
       slaughterhouses are more or less pseudo moralistic retards.
