Ok. Then why is it that in the Dietary Decolonization thread you
said that we are not pro alcohol?
Since the colonial era, pre-colonial local alcoholic
beverages in colonized countries have been to varying degrees
supplanted by Western wine. This is also something we should be
trying to reverse. While we are not especially pro-alcohol in
general, if people must drink, from a purely anti-colonialist
perspective we should encourage them to drink the pre-colonial
stuff.
"Not especially pro-alcohol" implies merely that we do not try
to persuade non-drinkers to start drinking, nor ostracize them
for refusing to drink during social occasions.
We are also against:

yet another uniquely Western law which never existed in ancient
times but was spread around the world during the colonial era by
the Western colonial powers, and therefore which we should be
trying to get rid of as part of:

Ok. Then would you still consider the teetotaler Aryan superior
to the drinking Aryan? If so, why?

Of course I am against drinking while on duty. Proceeding from
this, a teetotaler is someone who is ready to be called up for
duty at any time, thus in this sense superior for practical
purposes to someone who is not. If I were hiring for a job that
potentially requires unscheduled duty, I would hire a
teetotaler.
With this said, I do not exclude the possibility that a drinker
could be superior in other aspects.

Yes. I would consider the vegan drinker superior to the
vegetarian teetotaler (most Orthodox/upper caste Hindus), for
example.

Certainly there can be no sin when one uses a substance as a
medication. In these unnaturally tense and suppressive times
that we live in alcohol can be a good remedy to bring one to a
more naturally open and relaxed state.

I feel guilty about sipping alcohol, because my religion forbids
it. I have been trying to cope with this fact for a year now,
and it is taking a toll on my mental health. Any advice?

Please post a precise wording of what is supposedly forbidden,
and the textual source. Please state if you took an explicit vow
to follow this.
Also, assuming you knew the above prior to drinking alcohol, why
did you do it at all?
