Non-Aryan eyes
The effect of iris depigmentation on ability to see in
low light conditions has not been thoroughly investigated as an
adaptive advantage that could have contributed to the evolution
and persistence of blue eyes in Europe. In this study 40
participants took part in a simple eye test in increasing
luminance to examine if there was a difference in capacity to
see in low light conditions between blue and brown-eyed
individuals after a brief adaptation period. Blue eyed
individuals were identified to have significantly better ability
to see in lower lighting after a short adaption period than
brown eyed individuals making it likely depigmented irises
provide an adaptive advantage (p=0.046). Superior ability to see
in low light conditions could be the result of increased
straylight in depigmented irises, which in light luminance is
disadvantageous but in low light conditions may provide an
advantage.
Homework: what colour eyes should archetypical vampires have?
(Hint: see part in bold.) (Second hint:

Seriously, ability to see in low light conditions confers
virtually no advantage to farming, but it is not hard to imagine
how it could confer significant advantage to hunting and

Note 5:34-5:52. Also vampire commenter confessions:
Hunting in low light (dusk/dawn) is prime time.

European hunter-gatherers were mostly blue-eyed from
north to south according to most studies, but they simply left a
higher genetic impact in the north over the years.

I'm blue-eyed and have a lot of difficulty in bright sun
light. It causes me to squint quite a bit, which is
uncomfortable and doesn't look very good either. I definitely
prefer cloudy days and muted indoor lighting.

I'm 43 red hair green eyes and still perfect eyesight and
in dim light I'm more nocturnal I'm very comfortable with the
dark

Red and blonde genetics in my family as well and I have
to wear sunglasses at all times outdoors during the
daytime.

I can't look up further than about shoulder height when
the sun it out. It's just pain.

I have light blue/green hazel eyes and feel the exact
same way. Bright lights actually physically hurt my eyes, cloudy
days feel like I’m seeing in HD lol

I have blue/green eyes and struggle also. Looking
straight up at blue sky on a sunny day makes my eyes hurt the
same way cold brisk wind does.

I have green eyes and the mornings are too bright, so
much that I must wear shades.

I have dark green eyes and can see better than most in
low light conditions. The drawback is that being hypersensitive
to light leaves me almost blind in full sunlight. I also have
blonde hair and very pale skin which also makes it very easy to
get sunburned in a short time. I appear to be well adapted to
low light conditions.
I am reminded of:
"'western' - dimly lit if not outright candle-lit"
Ah, yes, that ludicrous colonial-era Western tradition: the
candlelight dinner!
A glorified, self-inflicted power outage during which
two individuals stare across an elaborately decorated table at
one another and giggle in a repulsive manner while exchanging
empty, flirtatious cliches. Expensive alchoholic beverages are
usually consumed as well as a light, fancy meal that no one
involved really notices.
...
The mainstream's materialistic expression of what they call
"love". People waste literally hundreds of dollars, if not
thousands, on the food, the alcohol, and the special clothes
(apparently, it's not cool enough to wear a t-shirt and some
pants or a top and pants/skirt..People who take part in
candlelight dinners must wear a suit or a dress). These are
usually followed by sexual favors afterwards. To me, the whole
thing is too much like ****. What else would you call sex for
material objects, such as food?

tribalism selects for blue eyes.
Bressan doesn’t explore it, but the findings have
tantalizing implications for the evolution and spread of light
eyes. Where there was sufficient genetic diversity and
attraction to novelty for them to develop—which might rule out
Northeast Asians—blue-eyed people attracted to each other would
elevate in-group cooperation, because it would reduce paternity
anxiety and conflict among men. Groups that are highly
cooperative internally tend to out-compete groups that are not,
as I’ve explained before. So, it follows that a group would
dominate other groups, all else being equal, if it had an
optimum balance of people with light eyes and dark eyes. Up to a
point, that would select for blue eyes.
It is now officially no coincidence that colonialism was
perpetrated exclusively by gene pools which produce significant
fractions of blue eyes. And the reason the selective pressure
which caused this phenomenon even existed in the first place was
because of how much screwing around was going on:
HTML https://trueleft.createaforum.com/human-evolution/re-sexual-dimorphism-preferences/msg12447/#msg12447
(Yet these are the same gene pools which most of the colonized
populations have been convinced are superior to all others.....)
Homework: who should be prohibited from reproducing
first?
