Netanyahu says the Gaza war has entered a new stage and will be
'long and difficult'
--- Quote ---
>
>
> Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told the nation
Saturday night that the military has opened a “second stage” in
the war against Hamas by sending ground forces into Gaza and
expanding attacks from the ground, air and sea.
>
> “There are moments in which a nation faces two possibilities:
to do or die,” Netanyahu said. “We now face that test and I have
no doubt how it will end: We will be the victors. We will do and
we will be the victors.”
>
> Netanyahu told the nationally televised news conference that
Israel is determined to bring back all the hostages, and
maintained that the expanding ground operation “will help us in
this mission.” He said he couldn’t reveal everything that is
being done due to the sensitivity and secrecy of the efforts.
>
> He didn't address calls for a cease-fire, but in a speech
peppered with references to centuries of Jewish history and
military conflicts, made clear his view that Israel's future
depends on its success against “enemy” forces.
>
> “Our heroic soldiers have one supreme goal: to destroy the
murderous enemy and ensure our existence in our land. We have
always said, ‘Never again,'" he said. "‘Never again’ is now.”

Israel-Hamas war: Gaza assault enters 'second stage'

suffering."

shelters or out in the open, with little food and water, the
ICRC said.

tolerate," Spoljaric said, adding that it was "unacceptable that
civilians have no safe place to go in Gaza amid the massive
bombardments."

critically needed now is adherence to international humanitarian
law by all parties," Spoljaric said.

destroying the military and leadership capabilities of Hamas,

declared.

"Stop The War" | Protesters Across The World Rally In Support Of
Gaza As Israel Plans To Smash Hamas
--- Quote ---
> Tens of thousands of protesters rallied across the Middle East
and in parts of Asia, Europe and the United States in support of
Palestinians and condemnation of Israel as it intensified its
strikes on Gaza in retaliation for Hamas attacks
>
> Jewish communities in the US, France and other countries held
rallies on Friday in solidarity with Israel after the Hamas
attack from Gaza, the deadliest killing spree against Israeli
civilians in the country’s 75-year history.
>
>
> There has been strong support and sympathy for Israel from
western governments and many citizens over the Hamas attacks,
but the Israeli response has also prompted anger, particularly
in Arab and Muslim countries.

Israel and saluting Hamas. In the south-eastern city of
Diyarbakir, 46-year-old business owner Mikail Bakan said: “All
the Muslim world needs to be one against Israel.”

IDF Kills “Hamas Gunmen” On Gaza Beach | US Urges Israeli
Accountability for “Extremist Settlers”
--- Quote ---
> 10 Palestinian children were killed in an Israeli airstrike on
Nuseirat Camp, according to Al-Aqsa TV. The IDF said its troops
killed a number of Hamas gunmen who opened fire at the ground
forces in the Gaza Strip. The IDF said it identified Hamas
militants on the beach in Gaza near the southern Israel
community of Zikim. The White House warned that Israel must do
everything it can to protect innocent people in Gaza by
distinguishing them from Hamas militants. Iranian Foreign
Minister Hossein Amir-Abdolahian said claims that Iran was
directly connected to the October 7 attack by Hamas were
“baseless”. Watch this video to know what's latest in the

We can only hope so, but we should never forget that the west
will not go down willingly. The blood memory that dictates to
westerners that machinists are superior to everyone else on the
planet runs deep. I mean you can prove to a westerner over and
over again that their machines are a major problem on this
planet and they still will not stop trying to invent new ones to
try and solve the problems the last set of machines they
invented created in the world...

Will Ground Invasion Endanger Israeli Hostages Held in Gaza?
--- Quote ---
> We look at the reluctance in Congress to censure Israel
despite growing grassroots pressure for a ceasefire in Gaza.
"The narrative on both sides of the aisle is mostly about the
right of Israel to defend itself," says Lara Friedman, president
of the Foundation for Middle East Peace. "Congress has bought,
completely, the framing which says that any Palestinian that
dies in Gaza … that's all on Hamas." Friedman explains how the
normalization of the racist Kahanist movement by Israel and the
U.S. helped lead to today's crisis, and lays out Israel's
approach to the ongoing hostage situation in Gaza.

hospital." Dr. Mads Gilbert, who has helped provide emergency
trauma care in Gaza for over four decades, condemns Israel for
using allegations of military activity to attack civilian
hospitals without proof. "This is all part of this immense
intimidation of the Palestinian people in Gaza," says Gilbert,
who is trying to enter the besieged territory from Egypt "to
show concrete solidarity with the Palestinian people."
