       Battle of Dunkirk and returning of British soldiers to Britain

       About Battle of Dunkirk, I would like to know reasons that
       Germany allowed British soldiers to return to Britain. I read
       that Hitler wanted to see Churchill signing a peace treaty.
       Could it be that Hitler hoped British and their government to
       see what he really want to do?
