They obviously think it's OK to be "white" against hares also.

I'm not going to post links because I don't want to give them
extra clicks, but a type of YouTube video that I have found
disgusting is when Western parents/pet owners do experiments on
their offspring/pets to see how their pets will react to various
stimuli (and record the reaction to upload to make money).
Admittedly, these are mostly not physically painful experiments,
but they are cruel nonetheless because the children/pets do not
understand that they are being experimented upon. To anyone with
honour, all interpersonal communication should be based on
mutual respect, with all parties having the same information
about the context of the communication. One person experimenting
on the other is the most flagrant disregard of this principle,
as by definition the experimentee has to be unaware of the
experimenter's intentions in order for the experiment to work
properly.
Yet Westerners apparently cannot help themselves. Casual
experimentation at every possible opportunity seems to be
inseparable from Western behaviour. The kind of experiments they
think up to record and upload* are ideas that would never occur
to me even if I had nothing else to do. The entire mode of
Westerners' interaction with everything around them is one of
fundamental disrespect. And they see nothing wrong with it! This
is how inferior their entire civilization is.
(* And that they can now make money from it just ensures they
will do even more of it......)

I hate it too! My most notable experience with this is what my
"half-sister" does to my nephew sometimes: puts a piece of
chocolate in front of him and then tells him he cannot eat any
until she gets back in the room. She has the camera hidden and
films him sitting in front of the chocolate. Her reasoning is
that it teaches patience. I see it as unnecessary torture.

Did your nephew ask to be taught patience? If so, fair enough.
If not, however, you should put a loaded firearm in front of
your nephew and tell him that he can shoot your half-sister with
it anytime he wants to.

Obviously it is less cruel and less damaging to the environment,
so I would of course prefer meat-eaters to eat it in place of
slaughtered meat, but I will not be eating it myself (I don't
even like vegan meat substitute that too closely resembles meat
in flavour/texture!)
It is a strong example of the unique inferiority of Western
thinking that even those who are uncomfortable with the
slaughter industry would rather invent machines to grow meat
than simply cut meat from their diet altogether.
My biggest practical worry is that, if lab grown meat replaces
slaughtered meat, the incentive to prohibit meat-eaters from
reproducing will evaporate, and thus their inferior bloodlines
will remain in the world.

I have never understood why people make vegan food look like
meat either, that makes no sense to me at all? And, it usually
looks like poop!
I won't be eating synthetic meat either. I don't eat enough to
feel too guilty about my mostly vegetarian diet, but when I
finally switch to full vegan and start eating regularly I
definitely won't be buying any plant-based "meat" products
either. Completely defeats the purpose of ethical veganism in
the first place in my opinion....

I find the smell of meat itself to be nauseating and avoid food
that has been prepared using utensils that were used for meat.
Also, why do you say "less cruel"?
