Gravure is intended to be erotic but not sexual. Eroticism is
not to be conflated with sexuality. It is common to think that
to be against sexuality you have to be against eroticism also. I
am arguing that this is not the case; on the contrary,
sufficiently refined eroticism itself can work in opposition to
sexuality. High-quality gravure is the artistic expression of
this point. I will use a simple thought experiment to illustrate
what I mean. First watch the following gravure video:

If, having finished watching it, you think that it would be
improved by adding a sex scene, then you are not a gravure fan
(and you should be prohibited from reproducing). If on the other
hand you agree that adding a sex scene would instantly ruin the
atmosphere carefully built up during the rest of the video, then
congratulations: you are a gravure fan!

I viewed it and if I were to comment on it, somehow I get
simulated by a good looking individual in something glossy and
shiny like water. My favorite part was at 22:05. I mentioned
something similar:

What about those that think adding a sex scene is not an
improvement nor would it ruin the atmosphere? I am not saying I
do though. I just think that there are people that are
indifferent enough to take anything to get hard. I am thinking
they could also be prohibited from reproducing.

I am slowly getting into gravure, since I am on my journey to

my imagination. But then you suggested gravure, so I'm getting

Water is indeed a staple location element in the universe of
gravure fantasy paradises. Here is a video in a much more casual
style compared to the previous one:

Whereas in the previous one not a single word was spoken from
beginning to end, this time not only is there plenty of talking,
but moreover the video proper literally starts off (2:00) with
the pre-production meeting where even the staff appear on
camera! Yet despite this difference, what both videos share is
the importance given to water. This is how foundational water is
to gravure irrespective of other stylistic choices. I of course
consider this to be a positive sign:

the best intentional idea.

To be frank, the individual the model was painting was more
narrow in face. They were also sweet to the model in 16:01,
which promotes individual idealism.

Wait... what?! If you are claiming that the kid in the orange
T-shirt was being painted, I am quite sure you are mistaken.
Surely Suzuki was painting a landscape (hence motion at 14:38),
and the kid was looking at her from the same position the
camera* was in at 14:40 (note directions of sunlight at 14:40
compared to 15:14). If the kid were the one being painted (ie.
Suzuki was already interacting with him prior to 16:01), the
16:01 moment actually wouldn't make sense.
(* What I interpret this to mean is that the kid is intended as
an alter-ego of the gravure video viewer.)
