Compared with its previous 8.9%, the Greens' 14.6% is a
significant improvement. In particular, the Greens are now at
least ahead of our enemies AfD, which is certainly good news.
(However, it is my guess that most of the Greens' gains came
from voters who switched away from the Left, whose vote dropped
from its previous 9.2% to a mere 4.9% this time. If we add the
two parties' voter shares together, we have only a small gain
from the previous 18.1% to 19.5%.)
The question now is whether or not we will get a Green coalition
government.

There was no source for this image (presumably it's from some
news website which would also have information on the other
parties). Assuming this image is accurate, it looks like most
people moving away from the Left are not going to the Greens.
Although this graphic doesn't show where the majority of the
Green's gains come from.
However, AfD's only gains were from people leaving the Left!!

Note that the level has been pulled so low by rightists in
recent years that all of the above is still not enough by
standards that used to be considered the absolute minimum:
