       Western's Leftist Problem

       If the Western Leftist are against colonialism, why from 1960s
       counterculture until now the Western nations still colonizing
       and exploiting other innocent nations with their multinational
       and liberal trading system? I ask about the commitment of
       "white" leftism now

       The single best countermeasure to vicious cycles in
       international trade which make already-rich countries richer and
       already-poor countries poorer is to support freedom of movement
       so that people from poor countries can migrate in large numbers
       to rich countries, thereby restoring balance between the
       distribution of products and the distribution of consumers. This
       is what Counterculture-influenced leftists are already doing at
       present.
       They would be neocolonialists only if they supported free trade
       of products but not free movement of people. Supporting both
       free trade of products and free movement of people is
       cosmopolitanism, not neocolonialism.
