Murder suspect of a HK taxi driver chose to 'flee' to Lamma
Island - less than an hour's ferry ride from HK island - after
his picture was al over the place on TV. Why Lamma Island out of
all places? It is my guess that the murder suspect thought the
'whites' could be trusted not to turn him in. Yes, Lamma has a
large white community, and he himself is an eurasian. But he was
       wrong!

"my guess that the murder suspect thought the 'whites' could be

I don't even think it was that; I think he was just so
Eurocentric that he considered the chance to socialize with a
"white" woman worth the cost of increasing the risk of himself
       getting arrested.
And apparently he wasn't the only Eurocentrist around either:

Yet they are all still alive. Why? What good is prison? They
will eventually come out and resume what they were doing before.
       Just execute them FFS!

The protests in chiefly Beijing and Shanghai the last few days
triggered by the Urumuchi blaze that killed 10 people have
turned into a potential repeat of the Hong Kong protests of
2019. The way these protests spread and are being organized
signify the same hands that schemed the HK fiasco commanding in
       the backseat.
Point of interest: at 40:28 in the video, note that the message
regarding payment ranging from 500 RMB for simply shouting in
the protests to 500,000RMB for heavier roles that risk being
apprehended is posted under the image of Sean Connery. That
really says a lot about the "Western" hero factor.
