Luxury goods are created with mass natural resources and human
resources based on quantity and complex competence. Therefore it
always resulted in high-priced products that are hardly
reachable. It resulted in jealousy for the people who could not
afford it and society's distrust to the state. Because the state
tends to be suspected as pro-bourgeoisie, they let the
bourgeoisie consume high-priced products with high quality when
the mass of lower-class people had difficulties getting it,
seeing that the lower-class always produced small income. So, to
achieve socialism and equivalence, low-price products with
acceptable quality must be encouraged and high-price and complex
products with high quality must be reduced or even removed.
Socialism cannot be achieved by letting social jealousy. On the
contrary, communists want every people got luxurious goods even
though they consume a mass of natural resources and need human
resources that understand complexity, which is impossible to do.
Because natural resources are finite and material complexity
always hardly integrates people, usually people who are
naturally low on their intelligence.
Therefore communism is fake socialism, more correctly mentioned
as "state capitalism"

To say you "academically agree" with something is supposed to
mean you consider the analysis to be accurate but are opposed to
the analyst in objective, thus if the analyst is pessimistic,
you are optimistic, and vice versa.

Yes. But deindustrialization is only one of the results. The
eventual outcome will be full on Westernization (from a social
perspective) and propagation of subaltern behavior (beef eating,
etc.) and the complete eradication of any Aryan high culture.
Think of Mao's cultural revolution, but without the
industrialization.
