Yes, it is in the interest of the US to break up Russia and
China, but not why Le Pen thinks. Le Pen doesn't want Russia
making China stronger, whereas we don't want China making Russia
stronger.

Of course this is an indication not of sincere moral courage,
but merely that he has figured out he will lose if he just
presents himself as a more moderate Islamophobe. He needs
leftist support to win and he knows it.

Le Pen increased her second round vote from 33.9% in 2017 to
41.4% in 2022. And that is despite Macron adopting many rightist
policies during his first term. That is not a victory for us.

It's interesting that Le Pen votes came much from Réunion, St.
Martin and Saint Barthélemy, Guadeloupe, Mayotte, Martinique,
and French Guiana. Most of these regions are POC. Also, many who
voted for Mélanchon in 1st round switched to Le Pen in 2nd round
when there were only two candidates.
