HTML https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patrick_Swayze
“People magazine named Swayze the "Sexiest Man Alive" in 1991.”
He can keep the title. I don’t want to be “sexy”, and especially
not to the kinds of people that swoon over sex appeal in the
first place
“He concurrently practiced martial arts such as Wushu,
Taekwondo, and Aikido, which he used to channel his
‘self-deprecating rage.’”
This is preferable to those (especially westerners) who see
martial arts as a means to power and/or notoriety
“In 1989, Swayze said, ‘I've always felt there was something
different in there (my personality), but I was scared to look.
For I fear I wouldn't find anything. That's the reason I got
into Soka Gakkai Buddhism’”
Unexpected choice of religion. Interesting. But most
importantly:
“Swayze was married to Lisa Niemi for 34 years from June 12,
1975, until his death. They had no children, but Lisa had
suffered one miscarriage.”
Thank you! Far less noble people would have made producing
offspring an imperative, because your situation would have been
seen as a failure to them

I agree these are the correct faces for selling luxury products,
though. (This is why I don't like luxury products.)

I thought I was done with ridiculing SI, but:
Martha Stewart is somewhat of a thirst-trap aficionado.

As you know, Martha covered this year's Sports Illustrated
Swimsuit Issue.
Which, like, gorg.
For the record:
HTML https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martha_Stewart
She is the second of six children[9] born to parents
Edward Kostyra (1912–1979) and Martha (née Ruszkowski;
1914–2007) and is of Polish heritage.[10][11][12]
...
On June 4, 2003, Stewart was indicted by the government on nine
counts, including charges of securities fraud and obstruction of
justice.
...
Stewart was found guilty in March 2004 of felony charges of
conspiracy to obstruct, of obstruction of an agency proceeding,
and of making false statements to federal investigators
Note also:
There was speculation that the incident would effectively
end her media empire,[2] but in 2005 Stewart began a comeback
campaign[3] and her company returned to profitability in
2006.[4]
In other words, it was OK for Stewart to be "white".

Perfection? The ideal woman, according to AI, is blonde, pouty,
and curvy in all the right places - getty
...
AI to create images of the “ideal” man and woman, according to
our use of social media. The results were frightening, though
only because it seems difficult to tell the difference between
the AI renderings and the average contestant on Love Island.
The ideal human, according to the AI used by The Bulimia
Project, has big hair, big boobs, big muscles, perfect teeth and
olive skin. The women are mostly blonde, the men mostly dark and
handsome.
Eurocentrism, check.
High sexual dimorphism, check.
Non-Aryan face shape, check.
No Aryan teeth, check.
Worse, many commenters are buying it:
The girl in the pic?! YES!!!

Based AI. Maybe Skynet isn't such a bad idea after
all.

if that’s the true definition of perfection I’ll take it
Is she waiting for me in the metaverse? Where's my rift
Physically. Yes it is.

yes, that is what perfect looks like.

Ten

Yes, yes.

I'm going with AI, this girl is a real beauty..

that girl is perfect.

WoW!

Looks absolutely perfect to me.

Yup. Maybe not perfect, but darn close enough.

I’m no AI, but this looks pretty perfect to me.

Yes, that is generally considered perfect.
Not to mention gloating along the way:
Yes, AI gets it and people who think "perfect" looks
Wait, AI is not politically correct! It must be
canceled!

So, the perfect woman is white.
We should not be surprised that Michelangelo and AI (see
previous post) have the same face shape preference. Michelangelo
and AI are both superlatively competent Westerners, who would
thus only be expected to have the same bad taste.

While we're at it, let's also cover:
HTML https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vitruvian_Man
"justly ranked among the all-time iconic images of
Western civilization",[1] the work is a unique synthesis of
artistic and scientific ideals and often considered an
archetypal representation of the High Renaissance.

proportions
[img width=1280

Again, it is not a coincidence that the same face shape
preference keeps turning up.

Since you mentioned a work from Da Vinci, that reminded me of a
quote from the main site that I'm confused about. You have an
unfavorable opinion on one of Da Vinci's works but the main site
had a favorable opinion on another of his works:
Culture>Aesthetics>Art
the higher the quality of the work, the lower the
quantity and the higher the demands from the artist (beginning
in 1503, the Mona Lisa was not completed until 1519).
HTML https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mona_Lisa
The Mona Lisa...is a half-length portrait painting by
Italian artist Leonardo da Vinci.
How would you describe Da Vinci's works at bad and at good?
Would the former be their ideal human appearance along with
their realism? Would the latter be the way Da Vinci raised its
works (e.g. Mona Lisa) organically with time?

HTML https://www.yahoo.com/news/fully-ai-generated-influencers-getting-143239162.html
Thanks to the advent of AI-powered image generators like
Stable Diffusion and Midjourney, some are now fabricating entire
feeds of internet personalities that don't actually exist.
The result is a fascinating journey through the uncanny valley:
haunting Twitter and Instagram feeds showing these AI-generated
influencers — virtually all taking the form of conventionally
attracted women
Meaning what?
HTML https://s.yimg.com/ny/api/res/1.2/KwH6MckY9cvZwqrgexnlSA--/YXBwaWQ9aGlnaGxhbmRlcjt3PTI0MDA7aD0xMjYwO2NmPXdlYnA-/https://media.zenfs.com/en/futurism_981/8cbe93a280de04061ef6059873bdf4a0[/img]
Faces aside, even the AI-generated influencer biographies are
Eurocentric:
Take an account going by the name of "Milla Sofia," for
instance, described as a "19-year-old virtual girl from
Helsinki, Finland," who has amassed tens of thousands of
followers on Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok.

"Have you ever been the lavender field [sic] in Provence,
France?" another travel-focused virtual influencer wrote in a
caption. "The lavender blooming season last about 3-4 weeks. It
is amazing."

Sofia might claim to be in Santorini, but the smudgy
approximation of the Greek island's iconic cliffs clearly isn't
real.
